Toaster endorsing the position of the blue haired freaks that whine about a rock being racist is one of the least surprising things I've read in here in a long time.

Democrats trying to erase their racist past.

Also saw that dude had a tweet with a reference about playing Madden in 2018. So he's also a hypocrite in addition to being a horrible ishlib but I repeat myself.

Yes that plus some other takes.

Probably wants to de-fund the police.  Let's see keeping people safe and fighting crime vs sports science and calling Madden video games a digital plantation.  Hmm.

Of course he doesn't have a problem with the actual violence of football, he's a fan cheering on the Chiefs and celebrating "beating up" on teams.

Well check out what the rock actually was and used for educational purposes - which will now continue just on a different site - compared to one person a hundred years ago calling it the N word rock.  It's just silly.  Do you think people walking past that rock thought it was racist?  Or did someone dig and do research to find that reference and then all of a sudden students are "unsafe" because of it?

The massive rock — a rare example of a pre-Cambrian era glacial erratic that experts say is likely over 2 billion years old — will be placed on university-owned land southeast of Madison near Lake Kegonsa, where it will continue to be used for educational purposes.

The boulder was carried by glaciers from as far north as Canada and dumped on Observatory Hill along with billions of tons of other debris when ice receded from the state about 12,000 years ago.

It was previously estimated to have weighed up to 70 tons, but an updated measurement shows it weighs 42 tons.

If it's so racist, why have it on school owned land and continue to use it for education?  Since it's a rare geological item that is used for education, why not focus on that and not worry about what one person nicknamed it 100 years ago?  It's just silly.  They had $50,000 of private donations to move it.  Could've used that money for something much more useful.

Going to go out on a limb here and say that if it is called that in the paper, it wasn't just one guy saying it.

Toaster has to be the cringiest poster in the history of the internet - now posting newspaper articles that are older than him showing the most offensive and racist word in our language.  Just another day in CVON.

He certainly has made this space unsafe for today. I may need to find a safe thread somewhere though I’m not sure that will help unravel the carnage he has already unleashed with that post.

As usual, you puss off from your idiocy.

Tell me, chickencrap, how do rocks and statues make you patriotic? I'll wait while you run away again without answering.

Feel free to explain your stupid post about supposed patriots, rocks and statues. I certainly have no idea what the connection you are making might be.

Doubtless, you have no idea either.

I just think you’re full of ish in general. I heard there’s a racist geode on display at the natural history museum. You should go protest.

Perhaps, I was going on the facts provided in the article related to students on campus who called it that.  It also said there were supposedly KKK around there at the time so you can speculate others said it.  Nevertheless, students 100 years later walking by a 2 billion year old rock that is used in science class, how would that make them feel unsafe because the word was said 100 years ago?  When did it stop being called that?  Do people go around saying it today?  Are people even aware of it?  It's a rock.  It's not a confederate statue or flag.

And again they're keeping it on campus property in another location so they can continue using it for education.  Black students studying in those classes will have to go look at it, are they unsafe?  This was just a $50,000 virtue signal.

"Charles Manson stole this song from the Beatles........we're stealing it back".

Not today.  Now it would be, "OMG!!!  Make it go away!!!"  Silly cowards.

A complete waste of taxpayer money.  I suppose Toaster is making a donation to the State of Wisconsin to help offset the bill.
