Btw, this game sucks.  I might just post in CVON instead.

Why do you think I'm here?

I just find the whole thing hilarious.  The first thing I think about when listening to a song isn't whether I agree with that musician politically or not.

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing.

That's not THE Katy Perry, it's just some random chick named Katie Perry.

I wonder if Katie Perry would be interested in buying John Voight’s car.

You were saying?

What's the difference between being angry and "fundamentally" angry?  That seems like little more than a buzzword of the SJW crowd.

Yeah, Neil Young isn't for everyone.  He's also (in my mind) a musician from the 1970s.  I know his career extends to the present day, but Harvest is probably his most well-known album, right?

i’m kinda partial to After the Gold Rush, Rust Never Sleeps, and Comes a Time, as well.

Joe Rogan is a complete moron but people want to listen to him. It is what it is.

Not going to lie, I went through a phase where I was listening to Rogan. Mostly when I was on the road in the hotel or working on a remodel. He had a diverse set of guests so you could get outside of your echo chamber.

But my interest waned and I haven’t listened to anything from him in over a year and a half.  Is this Rogan crap everyone is talking about common place for him now or is this a case of group of loud people on the internet screaming about an interview or two they didn’t like?

I forgot Andy Reid was coaching the Chiefs.

It’s all related to the vaccine I think.  Rogan isn’t necessarily an anti-vaxxer either.  His position is that healthy people don’t really need to get vaccinated.  But for some that’s an unconscionable position since he has such a large following.

Thank you. But is it something that he is constantly talking about or did it come up in a few interviews and people are taking issue?

He had the guy who literally discovered and holds the patents for mRNA vaccines on his show as well as some other doctors who don't agree with Science™

Apparantly debate is dangerous

Yeah, he's been questioning the vaccine and pushing alternative medications which obviously he's not qualified to do. Typically that'd be another C-list celebrity with an opinion but he has gained quite the following. Like I said, it is what it is.

Isn't it ironic that the same people who are more for mandating the vaccine are simultaneously saying not to listen to the guy responsible for the vaccine they want everyone to have and/or mandate?  There's some verbal gymnastics there.

He's not pushing anything.

He followed the advice of multiple front line doctors who have had success treating covid with proven therapies like monoclonal antibodies and Ivermectin and shared his experience.

He has also been advocating that people should exercise, get more sleep, eat real foods and take vitamins.

Really controversial crap.....

People have been sharing ‘’home remedies’’ forever. Most still listen to their doctors instead. Authoritarian Democrats have just decided that they’re going force everyone to think like they do and punish those who don’t. And they’re not going to limit it to just medical advice.

Everybody identify the Joe Rogan fans

He's a joke. Should his podcast be removed? No. Don't worry, I have no interest in taking away your precious Rogan.

 Imagine defending the guy who says sh** like this:

  • Malone likened the U.S. to NSDAP Germany and said Americans are trapped in a "mass formation psychosis,"
  •  claimed VAERS shows an "explosion of vaccine-associated deaths."
  • Claims a patient "with a bullet hole to the head" would be ruled as a COVID-19 fatality if they tested positive.
  • For every 3 people the vaccine saves, it kills 2

The guy is pushing the right-wing narrative. Good for him that he's found a niche. Problem is that the right-wing narrative isn't based on the truth. That's why platforms aren't allowing him to spew this nonsense in the middle of a pandemic. You guys should go back to focusing on holiday cups and cartoon characters. Far less dangerous.

They’re far better people than those who want to deny medical care to the unvaccinated.

Fake news.

Just prioritize vaxxed over unvaxxed.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/university-of-nebraska-herbie-husker-mascot-change-white-supremacy/

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has made a change to its cartoon mascot Herbie Husker to eliminate confusion about the meaning of a hand gesture he makes that some people connect with white supremacy.

In the original depiction of the mascot, which debuted in the early 1970s, Herbie's left hand made the "OK" sign with the index finger and thumb forming a closed circle. In recent years, some hate groups have come to use the gesture as a sign for white power - three straight fingers make a 'W' and the circle formed next to an extended finger make a 'P.'

Herbie's left hand now makes the well-known "We're No. 1" sign with his index finger raised.
