March 19, 20241 yr Author So the BLS released revised jobs numbers. Gavin Newsom was touting California's economic growth last year. Revised numbers show that the job creation number of 327K jobs added was really only 50K Nearly every private sector industry lost jobs, and over half of the jobs "created" were Government jobs.

The same can be said about the bogus jobs created #s that are released by the fed every month. They're usually overstated, and the jobs that are created are due to increased government spending on money we don't have. And the lapdog ishlibs in here absolutely eat it up.

They gloat about job gains until they destroy the economy. Then a Dem takes over and we gain jobs and Republicans call the job numbers that are calculated using the exact same metrics that they gloated about fake because...reasons. We're in that phase right now. I assume in '28, a Republican will take over and we'll enter the gloating phase followed by the inevitable economic collapse.

March 20, 20241 yr California has a declining population, but has positive job growth. And people in here want to cry about it. The job numbers are rigged like the 2020 election!

Ok so then post your source with the real numbers. You pick the metric for what's "real" growth and then we'll track that metric for the next 12 months. Sound good?
March 20, 20241 yr I prefer the ADP reports because they're derived from real payrolls from a company that services a huge chunk of the workers in this country. They've also generally been strong, but there's clearly something not quite right with the numbers from the gov't. I don't think there's any sort of shenanigans, I just think the method used by the gov't is too inferred vs. concrete, and so you see revisions. FWIW there were plenty of revisions under Trump, but you can be sure he always touted whichever number was higher.

I've said it before, but as shameless as Republicans are, I still can't believe they'd even talk about jobs. It's such a losing topic for them. I know they want to poke holes in the Dems accomplishments but when you're running the worst jobs president since Hoover against the best jobs president in a generation, you should probably just keep screaming about tranny's or ice cream and avoid the economy altogether.
