I've never understood Drew Barrymore's appeal. Not partiularly attractive, not charismatic, not funny, not endearing. About as mediocre and unremarkable as you can get. Maybe she's good at acting? I think I saw ET once, and can't remember anything else she's been in since then aside from 50 First Dates with Sandler. But it didn't hit me that I might be in the minority on that until I saw Norm interview her on his netflix show. He was gushing and fawning over her in a weird way that didn't make any sense. And he wasn't doing a bit or trying to be sarcastic, he seemed to genuinely be drawn to her.
