These people really do want the entire planet to remain exactly the same: warming is a problem, cooling is a problem, more rain is a problem, less rain is a problem, more hurricanes is a problem, fewer hurricanes is a problem, more fires is a problem, fewer fires is a problem, and on and on.  It would be nice if some climate scientist just came out and said that they want to engineer the entire environment, to have the ideal number of wildfires every year on a continent or whatever.
