because for the most part, the forced wokeness is ruining shows. i mean, after all of these years, you're gonna try and push a crossdressing/tranny klingon? that's f'ng stupid.

it'd be one thing if the shows were still good, but they aren't and considering people pay to watch most of these shows, they have a right to voice their opinions on it. whether you understand it or not.

Then they're bad shows. Piling on based on "wokeness" seems like people looking for reasons to be outraged. The market is deciding.

I feel like a tranny Klingon would be more problematic with the Klingons than Star Trek. But the Trek world was always uber progressive, so at least in this universe "wokeness" tracks with Roddenberry's progressive and inclusive vision for the future.

you miss the issue completely. take the acolyte for instance, the show was just blah, period, but because it failed the producers and actors literally laid the blame on white bigots who couldn't accept a strong female lead instead of the weak plot, poor writing and acting. even though there had already been strong female lead roles in every single trilogy and animated series ever produced in the star wars world prior.

the issue with a tranny klingon is it makes zero sense for that time period at all and it's forced. anything forced in a show holds it back regardless of the subject. this is no different.

btw, none of this is about the racial makeup of a show, so im not sure why you mentioned that to begin with.

keep in mind, i'm not one of the board cucks complaining, i'm just a fan stating fact that it seems stupid.

that said, if the show is good, that's what will matter most to me.
