Remember, we didn't beat a winning team last year -

  • Detroit - expected to be much improved and its away
  • Minnesota, omproved with a new coach. Probably winning team
  • Washington - revenge game for #11 in his new home city
  • Jacksonville - best QB in the 2021 draft and nnow a competent coach
  • Arizona - was always going to be hard. Likely winning team
  • Dallas - Dallas week is always Dallas week. Likely winning team
  • Pittsburgh - always tough and even Trubitsky can match Big Ben's 2021 numbers, Likely winning team
  • Houston - maybe we actually do get a breather
  • Wasington
  • Indianapolis - the Colts are a contender. Winning team
  • Green Bay - 'nuff said. Playoff team
  • Tennessee - no easy day, Playoff team
  • Giants - should be improved, but probably not a hard day
  • Chicago - probably playing out the string by now
  • Dallas - away at the 'Boys with playoff berths on the line for both teams. Likely winning team
  • New Orleans - vastly improved over last year and fighting tfor the division title. Likely winning team
  • Giants - the pressure is on us

9 opponents who are likely winning teams.

You can't really tell how hard a schedule is in today's NFL before the season starts.

Last year before the season started most had us winning 4-5 games max.  We doubled that.  So difficult to predict the outcome of a season months before it starts.  We could end up winning 5 or 12 games this season …. neither outcome would surprise me.

Tru****ky is not going to replicate Big Ben. He's a one-read QB who made his college career throwing 50-50 balls to Mike Evans.

OK Mack Hollins perhaps. He's still not a good QB

At this point we can't say. Some teams who we think will be good won't be. Other teams who we think will be bad will be better than we expect.

Right now our schedule looks fine. There's a couple of tricky runs on the schedule but we have a great chance to have a really good record. If we can get off to a good start and then take that momentum then there's definitely 12-13 wins on there.

Based on the schedule it looks like the Eagles could go anywhere between 0-17 and 17-0. I guess we'll have to wait and see how all the teams perform in real time to know for sure.

Schedule doesn't mean sheet this time of year

The schedule is easy.  The Eagles, however, were the definition of a middling team last season — beat the teams worse than them, didn’t beat anybody better than them.

The Eagles QB is a week-to-week proposition; inconsistent from drive to drive, much less game to game.  I suspect he’ll be the same as last year, the defense will be slightly improved, and the team will be somewhere around 9-10 wins and battling for a wildcard spot.

If we only win 5 games I’d be shocked.

Anywhere between 0 and 100% chance this happens.

So you're saying this schedule is all "real tests" and 0 "trap games?"

Sorry but i don't buy it...

I'm not looking much past week 1. This Lions game is giving me vibes of the 2014 season opener against Jacksonville, where we had high expectations coming off of a season with a playoff loss and we are facing a week 1 opponent coming off of a bad year. I know we ended up winning that game but it was an ugly first half.

The week in which the Eagles think they already won that game- before even playing it.... is the week they will lose. You have to play EVERY game like it's an elimination game. That's how you avoid the infamous "TATE Trap Game."

But then comes the "real test"
