Enough excuses. Gotta get ready for the real test next week

Next week will probably be no Hurts, no Strong again, and 3 quarters of Sinnett

Sounds like a real test to me

My goodness! How bad is DUM’s new favorite Carson that he couldn’t even get into this preseason game? Some people thought he was gonna start this year too. 😂🤣😂

Trade Sinnett to the Jets for a 6th rounder.

He's probably just not ready yet. I'm sure, like most young NFL QBs, he'll need time to develop as an NFL player. It's way too early to write him off. It's also way too early to expect him to be our next franchise QB. This was just one preseason game and for whatever reason, the Eagles wanted to look at Sinnett tonight. I'm sure they plan to get a good look at Strong in one of the remaining preseason games.

Im not writing him off unlike some around here who have been so eager to write off Hurts that they’re making any and everyone over him. My post is just a simple reminder to all not to be so hasty. Unless it’s JJAW. I mean enough is enough at this point . Wouldn’t you agree?

Sounds like Zack Wilson tore his ACL. What a waste to do it on that play

i feel bad for jets fans

Well Minshew can always be had for a 2nd rounder....

It would probably take that much to get Minshew, but why give that up for him when they could get Jimmy G for that much? On top of that the Eagles aren’t exactly in a position to give up Minshew. There’s nothing behind Hurts and his play style could lead to injuries.

"Jalen and I are close and I look forward to working with him for a long time…” Siriani on Hurts. Not sure if he’s gotten the memo, because he’s supposed to hate Jalen and can’t wait to replace him or so I’ve heard.

Well, we all knew this was a trap game... I think Peacekeeper knew it all along....

The position change is proof. They (Lurie?) like him and want him to have a job with them, but he's not a TE and wasn't a viable target as a WR. I still think they'll keep him on the PS for 2022 just because. He had his 3 years which is enough time to prove your worth in the NFL. Nice guy. It just didn't work out.

Regarding QBs, some people look at other QBs that have had fast, impactful starts to their careers lately. It's not realistic to expect every QB that will become a good NFL starter to be an instant star. Some guys peak early and never recapture that magic (Wentz for example). I think people just don't take into account how close each play is to being successful or unsuccessful. When a majority of things go your way, you'll seem great. When not, the opposite is usually true. I don't really understand why some people need so badly for Hurts to fail. He's the starting QB on the Eagles. I want him to keep getting better and help this team win games.

For some the reason why they want Hurts to fail is frankly due to the fact he replaced the guy you mentioned Wentz. Another reason is some people have a bias against certain running quarterbacks. In reality there is no viable reason to root against the success of Hurts like some around here do.

Come on DownUnderMike you and I both know that when it comes to those Carson’s you just go gaga for them. 😂

My takeaway from this game is how good the rookie trio of Jordan Davis, Cameron Jurgens, and Nakobe Dean look out there.

Wow, so Dean can really tackle after all!

My takeaway from this is that Hurts is going to go through a perfect year and we are going to win the Superbowl.

We’re not the Colts. 😄

"Going into the game Jalen told me he wasn’t going to throw me the ball. So that was it..” *big smile* "We had already talked about it [..], look at him, I don’t know, he’s just Jalen. Jalen being him. So that’s alright.” - Brown

Yeah Eagles play went downhill fast after Minshew left.

Who roots against him?

Don't waste your time.

Hope some how this week during the practices we can convince the Browns to give us Hunt.
