New all time high 🥲

I wonder why Bitcoin pumped so hard when Trump's odds of winning became very likely. Could the market realize one candidate was significantly more pro crypto????

Well duh.

For anyone reading this who has yet to make a Coinbase account, when you make one and buy just $1 of Bitcoin, you'll get $50 of Bitcoin as a bonus

Trump's presidency hasn't even started yet and it's already paying me huge dividends. MAGA. :usa:

Taxing Unrealized Capital Gains...

That's certainly one huge part of it. That was one of the worst economic proposals I've ever seen

They would have kept Gensler, members of the financial services committee that debanked crypto companies, CBDC proposals, would have sued every exchange like they have currently for unregistered securities, and refused to present actual basic crypto rule proposals

Now we'll get fair accounting rules for companies that want to hold Bitcoin, federal rule of guaranteeing self custody, banks will be able to hold it for customers, and probably the national Bitcoin reserve

Dems suddenly became the party that didn't support tech. I have no idea why but that was really dumb

Kinda poetic that Bitcoin and Trump implode simultaneously.  The two largest scams of the century, finally exposed.

You're not gonna believe this

Is you piggy bank up to $27 now? Congrats

This is the point where a lot of people start buying in.

it’ll probably sky rocket over the next 6 months or so, then crash, and 95% of people lose their shirt.

Honestly it’s a great trade if you have an attention span you can measure in years.

Most of the regulatory risk is off the table now, and vol is how you make money.

I can’t wait to turn my $13 into $13.00008912 in 6 months 😆

Pretty much no one in here is buying or even has any crypto. This thread had the most activity when they thought they were dancing on my grave with the FTX crash. Nothing but crying in here the entire year

Some are too stubborn or too stupid to buy still. They can still front run nation states holding Bitcoin as reserves literally right now but they're dumb

I congratulated you. I never believed and stated as much. I won't hate on your prosperity though.

Oh no, don't they know you can only risk 1%, 10% is too risky and we're gonna blow up Pennsylvania

I see he has changed his profile picture to Elon Musk. I'm gonna assume this guy thinks Elon is basically an idiot scammer now too?

I think we have found our very own Jim Cramer. We need to figure out what else he hates

Also, Bitcoin is going to hit 100k today. @dawkins4prez thoughts?

A couple of weeks before the election, he theorized that the Puerto Rican joke at the Trump rally might have pissed off enough Puerto Ricans to swing the election.

My thoughts on that are getting one of the least politically correct roasters at your serious event might not be the brightest move, especially when the other side is calling you a NSDAP for simply holding your rally at MSG

But it was a joke. He's a roaster. Everyone loved Kill Tony at the Tom Brady roast. And I think people are tired of being told the other side is basically the 2nd coming of Hitler when there are Israeli flags in the stands and Jewish people are speaking on stage.

Traditional media is on its way out. Everything goes through a political filter before it ends up being seen. They may make fair points every once in a while, but they're biased and can not ever be fully trusted

Understood on the distinction, but every government or community that has embraced it as a transactional tool has fallen laughably on its face for it.  And exactly as you noted, in the very events where it is supposed to shine, it craters instead.  There will always be some value tied to it because it has reserves of wealth in nefarious circles invested into it, maybe a little extra as a collector's curiosity.  But the bones are really bad when you sum up the mining, the closed circle that actually owns the bitcoins and of course the rampant unscrupulous speculation that has warped beyond recognition its real purchasing value.

I took a rollover IRA that had about from an old job and rolled it into Bitcoin, ETH and XRP in 2020....   I just 5x'd my initial investment.

If cash that out immediately and put it in my mattress.  At some point the scam is gonna end and the rich Fs who are running it are going to take peoples entire life savings.

I'm still high on ETH. Bitcoin leads every cycle, alts play catch up when it goes sideways

Saylor of all people made a great point that all assets will end up tokenized, that it's ridiculous that you can't self custody apple stock, trade it 24/7, and get loans against it. This is gonna happen on Ethereum imo at some point
