Probably no Harper or realmuto today so another lost series

Why wouldn't Harper play?

I thought they mentioned last night Thomson saying Harper was going to get a day off in the series

Nola giving up bombs and throwing too many pitches. Suprised?

How long till we hear the "it's early!" crowd that doesn't care until 80 games in that the team looks like hot garbage and has the same issues every damn year that don't get resolved.

Castellanos damn near fell over reaching so far out of the zone to swing at an unhittable pitch. lol

I DGAF how much they like the hitting coach, this is where good hitters come to die.

Harper is really slumping right now. He is 0 for his last 17. And at .200 this year. Not good when Castellanos, Rojas, Stott and schwarber are also all not hitting well

Bohm and Marsh came through. Glad they won. These high priced guys need to start hitting already. On the bright side, Yunior Marte is looking good. Hope he can keep it up.

I can’t believe he hasn’t given up a single run in 6 appearances so far. Who is this guy? Marte absolutely blew last season

The thing with marte is he always has had electric stuff. His issue has always been his control. When he has good control, he can be really effective. But if his controls all over the place and he can’t find the strike zone or he’s leaving pitches straight down the middle. It gets hit hard. why he needed to be in the minors last year figuring it out.

He’s improved so far but also looked shaky last night. That inning could have went either way.

yeah, i looked at his pitch count part way through and he was at 22.

overall the pitching has been fine minus a couple instances like nola's first start. the hitting needs to get going.

Thank goodness for Bohm and Marsh hitting well. Harper and Castellanos look terrible lately.

Harper does not look terrible. He is smoking balls all over the field. They are just going right at people. Don’t ever put Castellanos and Harper in the same sentence.
