e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! Posted April 21 Share Posted April 21 Well it was a nice one game run by Castellanos. Got a 10 game road trip to cincy, padres and angels. Really would like to go 6-4 or 7-3. Anything under .500 is not a great trip cause angels aren’t very good. He’s missed stretches the last 2 years frankly, at some point this season if Turnbull is still pitching really well I think they’re going to go to a six man rotation. You’re not gonna be able to trade him with how bad he’s been for most of this year. The time to do it was the offseason cause he came off a decent year. Would’ve had to eat some money though and i don’t think they wanted too. Stark said no one wanted to trade for him and i believe he said the Phillies didn’t want to eat some of the contract to do it. If they get Soto next year it makes no sense to have him when you can start Rojas (assuming he keeps improving with his bat) and marsh with Soto. I think this is the year this group avoids needing a late run to get into playoff contention and instead stays in the division hunt all season.
