Tbh i don’t expect every year he’s going to hit .340 against RHP like he has since May 1. I think there’s going to be a regression closer to around 275-290. Which is why him hitting LHP at like a .240 clip would solidify him as an everyday player. getting a chance today to see what he can do against LHP as they have him starting over weston Wilson cause Sosa is hurt and don’t want to play Walton. He’s exactly at .200 vs. LHP since coming back up. However only 55 at bats. But really he’s been awful vs. LHP since july 1 where he’s hitting .135/.200/.162/.362 and that’s the majority of of the 55 ABs (37)

That contract is going to be an albatross. It is going to prevent them from signing both Ranger and luzardo back. They never should’ve given him 7 year. Should’ve went max 4 with a mutual option for a 5th. I don’t how anyone thought 7 years with him entering his 30s with that amount of wear and tear was a smart idea

Really would like to take 2 of 3 but really just don’t get swept. Really game 1 is the best matchup slanted a lot in our favor. Sanchez is better than Ohtani this year but Ohtani has been better throwing lately albeit he’s not going deep into games. Snell is better than luzardo

That 3rd run will probably do it. This team looks like it has no interest in doing anything at the plate. Not unexpected as they tend to be awful whenever they have to play on the road the next day without an off day.

Honestly the Phillies think he’s good but imo he’s a head case in big spots. has been bad since beginning of August. He has give up 7 runs in 16 IP in 18 appearance since Aug 1.
