August 10, 2025Aug 10 Wheeler is going to go on a 2 week IL stint. He’s missing spots and velocity is down. His cy young chances are over anyway so might as well let him get 2 weeks off in hopes he can get back to where we need him.
August 10, 2025Aug 10 This team is incapable of a sweep never going to happen. They phone it in everytime

They got seven of their next 13 games against the nationals. We should be able to maintain a lead in the NL East and give him that time off. And you can bring him back for that Met series in New York.
August 10, 2025Aug 10 Just now, iladelphxx said:I posted this yesterday, it’s kind of BS comp because Shane Victorino hit against Lefty and against RHP. Played everyday regardless of who’s on the mound. He was a switch hitter, but he had to learn to be that and be good at it. Not every switch hitter is good at it like victorino was.Whereas marsh still can’t hit left-handed pitching consistently. When you look more into it marsh for his time with the Phillies is at 81% of his plate appearance against right handed pitching. Furthermore, since he’s come back on May 1, marsh is all the way down to 17.5% of his plate appearances against left-handed pitching which would be a career low. It’s be a better comp if marsh was going this against RHP and LHP like victroino. Instead they are basically sitting him or pulling him when a LHP is on the mound. Thru their first 324 games with the Phillies:Victorino:Vs. RHP: .285/.345/.399/.754Vs. LHP: .293/.360/.490/.850Marsh:Vs. RHP: .277/.357/.464/.821Vs. LHP: .214/.286/.331/.617In 5th season in MLB splits:Victorino (08):Vs. RHP: .298/.355/.407/.762Vs. LHP: .282/345/.537/.882Marsh (2025):Vs. LHP: .216/.298/.294/.592Vs. RHP: .294/.360/.468/.828I’d add marsh got better vs. RHP with Ks. Hes still at 37% vs LHP this year. It’s why he’s still not an everyday OF
August 10, 2025Aug 10 The fact we might be able to sweep this series with Bryce going 1-11 (so far) and schwarber 1-10 (so far) is pretty amazing
August 10, 2025Aug 10 Not gonna lie, didnt see a sweep coming at all, especially in this house of horrors. Hopefully they don't fall flat in Cincinnati and lose that series to erase their momentum.
August 10, 2025Aug 10 Painter absolutely stinking it up in AAA. Don’t know why they think so high of this guy
August 11, 2025Aug 11 It's crazy with how inconsi this team has been that they have the second best record in all of baseball

It’s likely coming down to us and the dodgers. I’m not sure anyone catches the brewers unless they go into a big slump. Which doesn’t seem like it’s happening
