Our hitting has been lousy against he nationals bullpen this series. 11.2 IP for the Nationals bullpen in this series and only gave up 1 ER and 4 hits. This is one of the worst bullpens in baseball. That’s absolutely pathetic by our hitters

I’d be happy winning 1 of 3. Just don’t get swept. Keeps it at 6 games. We never play well at citi field. Really important that we likely win tomorrow with Sanchez on the mound and luzardo and Walker next two. Not sure you know what Luzardo you are getting. And i don’t fully trust Walker and on Wednesday we haven’t seen McLean before so that’ll be a lack of offense game

It is why that trade irritates me. It would’ve been fine if you didn’t give up a top 75 prospect. Hasn’t been a ton traded over the last 5 years and when they are they get proven studs back. Not platoon players. Doesn’t matter if O’hoppe was good or bad after he left. His value to us was always a high trade chip to bring back an everyday type player.

Have a chance to catch them. They go to Az, Toronto and then face us. However they do have a stretch in September of at pirates, at Texas, vs. St. Louis, vs angels and at St. Louis. Gonna need some teams with nothing to play for help us out a little. If it comes down to the last week it favors us as we have marlins and at twins. They have at padres and at Cincinnati. Both of those teams likely in a race for their division or wild card
