It’s glad we’re the ones now hitting Soto hard. It’s all come full circle. That guy was terrible.

Way to go Kepler! Ever since the Bader trade he’s been pretty good

The magic number is:

Kind of hard to fathom how we've just come out and dominated these first three games. The Mets seem to really be in a funk and now on their way toward missing the playoffs altogether.

Yup. That would be icing on the cake to have those Fs miss the playoffs entirely. Not sure if the Giants or Reds have enough to overtake them but plenty of games left still.

Bader looking better every day. Glad Thomson finally got the balls to bench Castellanos more often. He was killing the outfield. I'm assuming they'll find a way to trade him after this season because he's not going to be OK with a continued platoon role next year.

Question to the group. With Turner out for a while, would it be a interesting/good idea to bring up Aiden Miller to get some MLB starts until Turner returns?

Thoughts?

I’d do it cause imo Donovan Walton isn’t a major leaguer caliber player. But they won’t do it cause he won’t get to play everyday since we have Sosa, kemp and Stott. Plus i think they don’t want to rush him. I’d love to see it cause he was on fire from August on in double A but his OBP, SLG and OPS is good in triple A but his avg to start has been rough. I think he’s type of kid that takes time to adjust but once he does he usually figures it out.

Tbh i think there’s a solid chance Bohm gets dealt this offseason and a shot miller makes the opening day roster.

Really the team the Phillies don’t want to meet in a NLDS is likely the dodgers. Their starting rotation is finally healthy. That series only need 3 SP with the scheduling this year. my guess is it’s going to be Yamamoto, glasnow and snell. Which means Ohtani and kershaw to the pen that can help bolster their BP which imo is their weakest part.

Besides the offense coming and going potentially being an issue (i think it will always potentially be), i still worry about our starting rotation without wheeler. Sanchez i trust. Ranger i trust cause he will battle regardless. But after that it’s a crapshoot. Luzardo and Nola can be dominant. Sometimes look like it’s about to fully implode. Imo if they can win Ranger and Sanchez starts in the playoffs they’ll win a title. If they don’t then you are just hoping for luzardo and nola pitch like they can.

We can beat LA we always do. Plus home field advantage. Huge series in LA will determine that

if they would’ve fixed his swing 3 months earlier, he might be top three for second baseman

Yup not winning this one as luzardo is Fing terrible to start this game Why i said i only trust Sanchez and ranger. Luzardo and nola can be good or complete implosion

Game over ugh

3 out of 4 is good
