Don’t disagree. However snell and Yamamoto have been pitching extremely well the last month particularly lately. Regardless of who they are pitching against.

Yamamoto last 7 starts: 46IP, 19 H, 5ERs and 58 Ks

Snell last 4 starts: 26IP, 13 H, 3ERs and 37Ks.

Since August 1: 2.41 ERA for snell and for Yamamoto 2.20.

It's the same story from the last 3 years. They run into the team that can beat them and they do. The MLB lets them use Japan as their farm system without any consequences. Until they get a cap in baseball or at least an international draft the Dodgers are going to keep winning.

Bigger issue to me with the dodgers is them deferring like 500 mil down the road. The deferring of money was never meant to be something like a half of billion dollars deferred to the future. It was established to have small market teams be able to keep a superstar knowing they couldn’t pay them all that money now and maybe big market teams deferring some money. The dodgers basically abused and circumvented the system to do that an help in creating essentially a super team and sign whoever they want. Meanwhile already had the advantage of being LA and the money that’s there.

I predict a series sweep

Nice to be in this position which felt unreachable early in the season. Now if we can just take advantage of it.
