That’s why you should’ve pulled him after the walk and single. He was missing the zone entirely after the Betts at bat and when he feel behind he had to leave it in the zone an he’s gotten hit.

That inning started with a non competitive Freeman walk. 1 pitch was in the zone. Leadoff walks kill you every damn time in the postseason.

Got betts and Hernandez who led the inning off. Issue is as soon as his command left vs. freeman then Edman it wasn’t there they should’ve pulled him. Reason Edman got something to hit is because Sanchez continuously fell behind by not being close to the zone so forced to throw a strike. Same thing to kiké an he cashed in.

Muncy got himself out, big help there. Time for the top of the order to show up starting with bryce
