Want to say don’t use Kerkering knowing this info then I’m fine with that. However Kerkering actually did his job that inning but Turner Fed up a throw home and really that throw changed this from 0-0 to 4-0

Yeah. Literally the last guy other than Robinson I'd put in a game. Stop making excuses for Robby T regardless of how bad that pen is. He has no feel. That's based on history.

Not the guy who literally folds in bad situations. For starters I wouldn't have put Luzardo back out. That was the first dope move he made.

Has no feel, fine. However pretending this bullpen is remotely good enough vs. dodgers lineup and any other option gets out of a 0 out 2nd and 3rd jam is ridiculous.

I never said it was. But stop defending Robby T and his dope moves blaming the pen. He shouldn't have put him back out there to start the 7th and with two guys on you know what he was going to come in and do.

Why? Luzardo had retired 17 batters in a row and less than 75 pitches. That’s a ridiculous statement.

Why? luzardo had retired 17 batters in a row and was at 72 pitches. No manager is removing him from the game at that point. You’d have killed him if he took him out there and the bullpen imploded. That’s such BS response. Damn well know at 72 pitches giving up 1 hit and retiring 17 in a row no manager or you is taking him out.

Is it now? How did that inning turn out? He just watched Snell fade. He got 6 strong out of him. I wouldn't have done it and was in my house saying so.

Lol. So you could’ve been wrong too if they removed him went buellere and bueller got rocked.

This would be like removing halladay from a 1 hitter after he retired 17 in a row against best lineup in baseball.

You didn’t say crap on here. Saying after the fact. So i call bs that you said it and now using it after the fact. I’ve seen you and many of us on here be upset at Thomson for removing Sanchez at 80 pitches ina s shutout. Which essentially what would’ve been the case here lol

Saying don’t use Kerkering i could understand. Saying the luzardo thing is BS when he had shown no symptoms of fatigue and had been Fing cruising since the first.

lol two more stellar ABs by our big sticks

Tell you what you can defend Robby T all you want. He is the reason they have lost the last 4 postseasons. He has no feel. No IQ in big situations. I respect you so I'll let you have the last word. I strongly disagree with all that. And I don't remember saying removing Sanchez was wrong. I remember saying Ranger or Nola should have gone in. And I don't care if it's a situation they are used to.

Lmao they did Duran’s entrance with them down 3 runs - F’n clown show

I’m not saying Thomson is blameless. However their flaws are bigger than their manager. Hitters can’t hit worth crap. Their bullpen has been a disaster for 3 of 4 runs.

That said pretending like any manager in baseball is removing luzardo after 72 pitches, retiring 17 dodgers in a row and pitching a shutout is hilarious to me. You are going to hate the new manager too cause he wasn’t removing luzardo either. Neither was Dave Roberts. Neither was Charlie Manuel. Neither was Dallas green. No manager was removing luzardo at that point.

As for tonight they got 6 strong out of him. Maybe had had 10 pitches left before his arm ended up like Snell. You just saw what happened. You take what you get and keep them going up against strong arms who they haven't seen a few times today. That was my thinking. You saw what happened to Sanchez the other night as well. The more times they face a guy in the same day with a weakening arm isn't ideal to me. He's not Roy or Cliff back in the day.

Snell was at 100 pitches. Even Dave Roberts let snell go to 100. And snell wasn’t remotely as good as luzardo as he was walking a ton of guys. Luzardo was at 72! 72 pitches. Like you know how well Luzardo had to be pitching to get through 6 at 72 pitches considering his first inning he had 24. Means the next 5 innings he had thrown 48 pitches to get 17 outs. Thats Fing Roy Halladay crap. He may not usually be halladay but that’s crap halladay does

As for Sanchez he was also close to 90 pitches when he began falling apart. Not 72 and not retiring 17 straight batters on 48 pitches. Again that’s Fing Roy halladay type pitching.

Turner threw the ball close to where JT’s glove was set up, on a bang-bang play. Could he have lead him slightly more towards home plate, yes, but only slightly because JT catches with his left hand. It would have been extremely awkward and hard to apply the tag to the runner at home based on where JT was lined up had Turner throw it significantly more towards home plate. It’s a makable play, no doubt, but it wasn’t an egregious throwing error.

Man the Dodgers are so much more disciplined at the plate

He threw 99 but he was weak a few batters before that in your own words and Luzardo isn't Snell. Yes 72 so he had maybe 10 before his arm started to weaken. So I thought it was wrong and it was. Guess where he fell off? So your argument is he only had 72 pitches and yet he fell off pretty fast. Pitch count doesn't matter. It wasn't F'ing Roy Holladay crap. The Dodgers are a good team. The more times they see you in one day with a weakening arm isn't good.

100%. He was pulled way too early with a leaky bullpen. Topper is a doofus. He’s proven it time and time again.

Throw is not supposed to be to that side of Jt. It’s supposed to be to the plate where the tag needs to be applied. Don’t blame Turner. Then blame Jt for not setting up where he needed to be.

Either way Kerkering got the ball they needed to get in that situation. They didn’t make the play. After that Kerkering imploded. But frankly he had to face a minimum of 3 so we’re likely screw once they didn’t get that out.

So we’ve gone from we should’ve pulled luzardo earlier to now someone saying should’ve left luzardo in? lol.

My point was more there was no way in hell any manager saw what luzardo was doing going into the 7th and was like you know what I’m gonna pull him before the 7th.
