No, my argument is manager or person besides you in their right mind would take him out to start the 7th inning when he had retired 17 bats in a row against one of the best teams in baseball and had been that dominant. You are the only one that’s gonna ever argue that.

I’m not gonna defend his use of the BP. I don’t think he does a good job being outside of the box creative with a bad pen. I just think their bullpen sucks is a bigger issue and whatever manager has that pen is doomed to failure. so whatever move he’s gonna make you’re basically skating on thin ice hoping it works out.

My issue is more you’re telling me you’re gonna remove a guy in luzardo who’s retired 17 bats in a row against one of the best teams in baseball (who’s about to win back to back World Series) and that guy has been dominating them to go to a bullpen that Fing sucks before the 7th starts. Nobody’s doing that. No offense You’re gonna hate the next manager too, because the next manager is still not doing that.

That's fine. Maybe I look at things differently. To me it's how many times have they faced him? How many pitches can he throw at a very high level vs that very good team before he starts to weaken? 10 pitches would have been my guess. Do you want to blow a bad pen arm or go with Ranger in a game you obviously have to keep tight with the bats not going? To each their own. You want to get off before it crashes. Because he is facing the best team in baseball and because of how good they are that's why. Maybe I'm dumb for thinking that and have a bunch of Philly fan this is going to crash mentality in me as well. Like I said you right. I respect you and your knowledge is better than mine.

The issue is if they had a better bullpen I’d be way more on your side. We know their bullpen sucks. So you basically have to get seven innings so that you only have to get 6 outs from your bullpen. Anything more you are dealing with explosives. So I have no problem with the manager going with a guy who looked like Roy tonight. You ride him until he starts showing cracks because your bullpen has already showed the last two playoff to be terrible. We have legitimately one guy you can trust in Duran .

My thing is fire Thomson. I don’t really care. I think he’s replaceable. He’s part of a problem but bigger problem is their GM roster construction. The problem is if another manager comes in and does what you said you wanted at 72 pitches and the bullpen implodes he’s getting run out of town. Like no other manager is touching luzardo at that point. If he was 85-90 pitches I’d be more on your side.
