I mostly thought it would come to this. There was that stretch after Wheeler went down that I thought this team may be different this year... Well that was not the case but, Im still not upset because we have seen more of this team than that team for that stretch.

As much as I hate him right now at least he’s not completely tone deaf and actually understands why they’re being booed. unlike the idiot on this roster

I'm still a huge fan. It sucks seeing him playing like this. I'm glad he gets it makes it like he isn't all show and actually gets the fans on a genuine level.

I’d love to see him and wheeler win a WS. Unfortunately Harper at this stage can’t do what he did 3-4 years ago. His body doesn’t stay healthy enough anymore. He needs more help than he did in the past. Which is expected as he gets older. It’s why i keep harping on them needed a cleanup hitter behind him as it would make his life much simpler

Mine too. I was really hoping that he would wait it out and that the Blue Jays would just not be good this year, and then want to leave. But the Blue Jays somehow got that deal done before they even got to the point where they were really good this year.

Curious to see what the Phillies do in the offseason. I think it’ll be telling cause really if you re-sign Jt and schwarber then you better go all in and get another big bat cause you aren’t winning without it.

1. I do think in this series Zach Wheeler makes a difference. I still don’t think they win this series. But if you have him going and game one and you have Sanchez in game two, it allows for luzardo to be coming out of the bullpen for game 1 and still start Wednesday in LA. So if you get into a situation like game one, you can go to luzardo and do what the Dodgers are doing with glasnow and Sheehan. It bolsters a bad bullpen. That said they’re not losing this series because Zach Wheeler isn’t here. They’re losing it because the offense doesn’t consistently hit, they chase. Thomson he is making bad decisions. And the bullpen isn’t good enough.

2. I don’t think they win on Wednesday. However, usually when I think that with baseball the baseball gods have other plans. Stupid crap like Aaron Nola who’s been bad all year somehow winds up being good and the Phillies figure a way to win a game in LA. Just to come back on Thursday when we feel good about Sanchez going and fall flat on their face. That said I still expect them to lose on Wednesday.

They'll win on Wednesday, because then they play on Thursday, and of course everyone will have to watch a baseball team on life support during the Eagles game on Thursday. They probably lose on Thursday, making switching channels to watch ultimately pointless when all is said and done.

Tbh they have a really good advantage on Thursday. It’s going to be Sanchez vs. likely glasnow. The dodgers haven’t used Ohtani on that type of rest all year. He’s always pitched on 7+ days or more. Maybe they finally do it with Ohtani. hasnt this year so he might fatigue earlier.

Usually Yankees bullpen is just as bad. Tbh it’s why I’d take mariners to win the AL. Their pitching is significantly better than the other 3 AL teams left.
