The 1986-87 Flyers were my team. They went 3-3 in regulation vs Edmonton and lost the OT game.

50 goal scorer Tim Kerr missed those playoffs and they till took a dynasty to the edge.

Howe and Beast were +195 and +183 over 3 years as the best defensive pairing in the league and Hextall was awesome.

McCrimmon (31) and Howe (57) even scored 88 goals over that 3 year span with 2 cup finals.

Cheapskate Snyder traded McCrimmon rather than paying him and refused to stop paying Hextall nothing after a Vezina and a Conn Smythe. Hextall came back late and got injured... end of run

Honestly, it's so bad the Dodgers can shrug it off. But this team also has a bad history of a ton of runs and then getting shut the hell out the next game

Nah, this is the kind of game we needed to see out of them.
