I thought the most he was going to get was five. I could see Ranger getting six if it is a team option where they can decline it. I would only go 5 with a team option for the 5th that has some sort of like $5 million buyout if they don’t pick it up. he hasn’t shown he could pitch an entire year without getting hurt and he’s gonna be 30. We can say his stuff isn’t gonna have dramatic drop off as he’s not a power pitcher but you saw when he’s not on even 2 or 3 mph affects him.
