November 5, 2025Nov 5 i’d say Tucker or Bellinger, but they’re both left-handed. Which is a problem because you’re very left-handed dominant at the top of the lineup. Bregman is gonna be a bad contract after the initial two years. Heck eh wasn’t the same after his injury last year. He might be good for the first two years, but I think he’s gonna break down by year four and then you’re probably still paying him for another two. So it’s not gonna be worth it. If you’re gonna go infield as that bat, then you’re better off going with Bichette. Even though he has durability problems when he is healthy he is one of the best hitters on the market, he’s right handed, and you could positionally move him to second when Aidan Miller gets healthy or keep him at 3rd move miller to SS and Turner to 2b. And then use Stott as a trade chip to get maybe an outfielder or another bullpen arm instead of paying him.
November 5, 2025Nov 5 Please get Bellinger I’ve said his name on here prior to this year for like 2 years. He’s LH but he gives you good defense and in this park he’d hit well. Plus i think he’d fit in with the team. I like Tucker but that contract is going to be ridiculous
November 5, 2025Nov 5 I'd definitely be interested in him. Switch hitter with some pop. Trade Stott as part of a package for an OF or bullpen arm
November 5, 2025Nov 5 I hope its all or nothing approach. Don't bother with the in between. You will just be stuck with more bad contracts in the future.
November 5, 2025Nov 5 hope they deal for him. Then doesn’t sign an extension. Hits free agency at the end of the year and leaves

Right now it says he chases bad pitches.I mean he was top 30 in baseball in walks. Had 70 walks which was 29th. Add on he missed 30 games. For a 150 game pace he’d be at 80 which would be top 20. For 162 game pace it’s 86 and it’s top 15.The issue in the playoffs is he is chasing at more bad pitches cause he’s trying to do too much as he doesn’t trust the guy behind him to come through. Basically what Boras put out there which I’m guaranteeing comes from Bryce. Add on the analytics provided in the zolecki article kind of touches on the advance analytics favor Bryce not a big drop drop off from previous couple years except teams rather not give him anything to face Castellanos, realmuto and bohm. Zolecki, Salisbury, amaro along with Matt gelb kind went into this discussion.
