Ugh.  Nola is starting tonight.  The Mets SP has an ERA over 5.00 so likely outcome is Nola pitches 3-4 solid innings then the wheels come off while the O struggles to get hits and makes another P with a 4.00+ ERA look like an ace.

Before Girardi got here, did anyone else realize he knew so little about game management? It’s shocking.

This should be 2-0.

Good win tonight and at the moment SF has a 2-0 lead on ATL in the 6th.  Go Giants!  And bonus for them to win to stay ahead of the stinkin Dodgers, because F them.  And nice to see the BoSox and Blue Jays ahead of the Yankmees.  Hopefully that's how it finishes.  Plus, it'd be nice to see TOR and their young and talented lineup in the post season.  Who wants to see that annoying team from NY?  F them, too.

SF wins.  Phillies just 1 GB.

Harper reaches base 3 of 5 ABs, 3 TB in 4 AB and 2 RBIs.

Just the latest setup.  How many times have we been here over the last three seasons only to see them fail yet again?

LOL, I logged in to literally post this same thing, I feel a  7 game losing streak coming or at best going 2-5.

He was hitting .261 on June 10th.

.342 since then in more than half a seasons worth of games.

Glad girardi kept Gibson in and let him bat the top half of the inning…..

Came here to post this.  Moronic decision.

Unreal. I try to like girardi. He’s been a winner, he def trusts his players, but sometimes he looks like a complete idiot

Yep.  Aroid is unlistenable.

I had to eventually hit mute.

if you change managers every year and it's the same result, it's the players. fact is this team is not enough, doesnt matter what manager you have on this team. they are not miracle workers. you are not going to win a championship when your only good starting pitcher is wheeler and the rest of the rotation is garbage.

you can put him on the giants and they will go to the playoffs, talent on that team is good, talent level on this team sucks. that's it. changing managers isnt going to fix this.

Yeah I think you misconstrued my statement. I'm not saying its Girardi's fault the phillies are where they are. But his decisions have been odd.

Honestly I think baseball managers are the most inconsequential managers in basically all of sports.

managers can only do so much if you dont have alot to work with especially with the starters and bullpen. i mean if we had three or four good pitchers, i dont think joe would have a difficult time with this roster.

like i said this team isnt good enough, that's the harsh reality right now.

Is anyone else surprised that Gabe Kapler is going to pull a Terry Francona?

It’s Philadelphia. Of course I was expecting this.

You won't see  me defending this team often but this statement is ridiculous

Already down 2-0 to the worst team in baseball 😂

Great start

Pathetic. Please just put them out of their misery.
