Good for the bullpen. 3 innings didn’t give up a run. 

Not sure why we didn’t use Realmuto as a DH in this game. If something happened to Knapp can always make him the catcher. Why are you taking out your best and hottest hitter 

Good job by velasquez cause i didn’t understand why Quinn dove for the ball. He had no chance with how the ball was hit and the jump he got on it. 

Wow some team in baseball has a worse bullpen then the Phillies... thank you cubs. 

and I’m not shocked the bullpen comes in and immediate gives up a 2 run homer. At least Adam Morgan has a cool mustache and soul patch combo going on.

Bullpen now given up 4 runs gotten 1 out. Thanks bullpen.

Yeah they're awful. It's a shame. I dont know if I've ever hated so many bullpen guys on one team.

He, hoskins and kingery competing for who has the lowest average at the end of the year. I tend to think kingery gets hot. So it’s gonna come down to mccutchen and hoskins

I see Freeman still continues to haunt us.  And it looks like our O decided to take the day off today.  So cutting the yard was the better decision for me.

You damn Negadelphians, we have an up and coming team, we will be younger at catcher next year with Knappy, the breakout years for Pivetta and velazquez, young arms in the bullpen, Kingery will be settled in at 2nd base, Hoskins breaking the 200 average barrier that will sky rocket his confidence along with a new mustache, they are on the rise

I have complete faith in Klentak.....

In 14 innings played today the Phillies had 2 runs and 7 hits.  Yep, that'll get it done when your BP sucks.  I don't see how this team goes anywhere any time soon other than bottom half of the division.  If Middleton can't see Klentak is not a good GM for this team then he deserves to own a team that's mediocre.

Honestly i want them to miss the postseason this year because no one else could be blamed but Klentak. It’s his ineptitude that’s has the pen looking like crap where girardi makes the analytical move and it blows up. Add on the farm system is crap. And on top of that his stupidity of trying to change hoskins might have hurt his career to the point where he’s useless besides walks

Is that Klentak's analytics or was it Coconut Oil's?  I know Klentak is an analytic guy, but I thought Coconut Oil was into all that ish as well about launch angles, etc. and he had the players coached up that way.  I thought Klentak hired CO as manager because they had the same mindset about analytics where Girardi is more old school so Hoskins shouldn't have the same approach at the plate he did last year.  Whoever his hitting coach was when he was called up, unless he has a sweet gig for another team, they should bring him back.

I say both.  Klentak is an analytic guy and allowed Gabe to even be brought in and allowed him to do what he wanted with a player that wasn’t an issue and had success. they go hand in hand with screwing up hoskins imo. Both should’ve been fired at the end of last year.
