Watching Howard each time he’s pitched i haven’t really come away impressed in any of his outings. I know it’s just a couple and he likely gets better but i was expecting to see more from him

Seems like the Phillies are back to playing bad baseball. Bohm error likely going to cost us at least one run this inning and with degrom pitching likely puts it out of reach

That error was inexcusable. I don't care that Bohm is a rookie. If I was Girardi, I would pull his a** out of the lineup for the rest of the game. 

deGrom is downright filthy.  His stuff jumps off the TV screen.  Aaaaaand...........our infielders suck.  Nice play Rhys!  Idiot!  

We already knew that runs would be at a premium with Degrom pitching but Nola didn't exactly hold up his end of the bargain. I know the defense was shakey but you still need to pitch better than what he did today. Very disappointing. Is there where the Phillies go on a run of losing say 7 out of 10? Wouldn't surprise me.

Workman and hembree stink. Like this all comes down to the fact if moron klentak didn’t spend 11.75 mil on Robertson per year and arrieta 25 mil per year we’d actually have money to get competent relievers and possibly a middle starter. 

Sorry to hear that Lou Brock passed away today, only a few days after Tom Seaver as well.  Those two were dominant players who were just winding their careers down when I started watching MLB.

I remember being amazed how good Brock was stealing bases.  I looked up his career base stealing % and was surprised it was just over 75%.  Checked Rickey Henderson next and he was 80.7%.  Also surprised that when I checked Tim Raines he was 84.7% — fantastic for the sheer volume of bases he stole.

Truly a lost art in today’s game of home run or strikeout.

It kills me every time Sixto takes the mound.

Hoskins with another HR.  Damn, if can keep this up and get back on track to what he was in his first season that would be grand.  Phils up 5-0 with Wheeler on the mound.  Hopefully the O can put up 5 more runs to give the BP enough of a cushion to not blow the game.

In hindsight they might have been better offering Spencer howard with how he’s looked so far. I’m thinking the marlins likely would’ve wanted howard, Alfaro and another prospect high prospect. Would’ve done it to keep sixto especially with Realmuto likely you leave cause we didn’t get this done earlier

This entire series their defense has been dog crap. But this goes back to the second to last game of the homestand where Roman Quinn thinks he can catch a ball 10 feet over his head hits into the wall when he’s jumping.  ball caroms off the wall and goes for inside the park homerun because he’s an idiot and doesn’t understand it’s ok to play the ball off a bounce and reduce the damage instead of increasing it with stupid attempts at catches you can’t make. 

Also don’t get this reluctance to use haseley when Quinn is out. We use garlick. Not that haseley is any good but garlick has no future with this team. At least see if haseley might.

I don’t get his move to take wheeler out today. He was at 83 Fing pitches. Like why remove him knowing the bullpen blows? Let him go another inning. We only have 23 days left of baseball and our bullpen likely going to be taxed during the double headers
