I'll take the split.

Better take both tomorrow at home against a completely dead Red Sox team

Well velasquez is pitching so not likely.

So Phils O stakes them to a 6-0 lead only for the BP to blow it and end up trailing 7-6 before the O ties it then wins it in extra innings.  I knew they needed about 10 runs to win this in 9 innings.

I've watched a lot of bad Phillies baseball from the mid 80's, through the 90's, and from 2012 to the present. I don't think any of those teams had abysmal bullpens as horrific as this one. It has to be demoralizing for the rest of the team knowing that even when you stake the team to a 6-0 lead, that its just a matter of time before those losers blow it.

I just can't move past the Sixto/Realmuto trade.

Catcher is sort of the running back of baseball.  It's an important position, but it's short-lived.  You can reliably have success if you just get a great fielding catcher and look elsewhere for your offense.  That's the most reliable investment.  A mega-contract to an elite catcher isn't necessarily ideal.

And then we go trade our best pitching prospect in years for that elite catcher.  And then we don't re-sign him.

And it stings again each week when Sixto outshines Spencer Howard.

Klentak is an incompetent moron. That's the only answer I can think of.

And the early 2000s

Spencer howard is starting to become somewhat concerning. You’d hope he’d start making strides each start. Feels like they are just all the same. I’m hoping it’s not a pivetta and velasquez type of deal.

Great win yesterday. After getting a thorough beat down for 2 games, could have let up and took another L last night. This team has serious flaws for sure, but they certainly continue to fight. Fun to watch.

Hopefully at least split today with Boston and keep it rolling.

Gee, wonder what the big difference is from last year? Oh yeah, Krapler is gone.

Definitely helps. Attitude has definitely changed, I would say they are no longer losers. Last year and prior they were a team of losers.

I want both. This is a .333 win percentage team coming into town for one day.

They need to win this division. The matchup in that best of 3 will be a lot more friendly than facing SD in SD

Bro Im just hoping to watch phillies playoff baseball. Talking about matchups is too much dreaming for me.

I think mlb is trying to get a bubble situation for the playoffs.

This defense sucks

It’s been a bigger issue over the last week. However Roman Quinn has been a disaster most of the year but like clockwork he’s injured now.

Good job Bohm.  Need a big lead with this pen.

Girardi needs to stick with his starting pitching longer. I know Eflin gave up 3 solo homers but I trust him more than I trust this gas can bullpen.

Fat f*** Hunter sucked as usual

To be honest, there isn't one guy in the pen whom I can trust. Hunter? Nope. Neris? Nope? Workman? Nope. Romero? Nope. Just a steaming pile of sh#t Klentak put together.

Pen sucks. But girardi is dumb for even pitching to devers. The guy has like 4 homers and has 9 hits in 13 at bats this year vs. us.

How do you get frozen on his 85th consecutive high breaking ball there.

Bohm is flat out good

Bohm for the win!!!!!!

I got a bohmer

:phil:

easy win

Not able to watch, but I see that VV is getting the start tonight.  That should be fun.  Sooner or later, he's going to have his once annual 8 IP 0 ER 14K game.

Thank god we got Phelps lol
