January 2, 20233 yr Also, WHAT scares me is that this great wonderful football season could end in a horrible choke job. And I will blame the Coaches, 100%, if that comes to fruition.
January 2, 20233 yr The niners defense gave up 500+ yards to a back up. Other than Herbert/Mahommes who have they played that has actually challenged their defense?

January 2, 20233 yr The other teams don't even concern me right now. The Eagles concern me the most. They had one job to do the last 3 weeks of the seasons and have fallen on their faces twice. And they had prime opportunity to do it against Dallas and let it slip away. We could fall all the way to the 5th seed with another loss next week. And if both we and Dallas lose then we could still lose the #1 seed to the 49ers, especially considering the 49ers are playing the Cardinals. Not looking good. Eagles trending downwards are the wrong time of the year. Losing games and injuries piling up at the end of the season is a sure-fire way to go one and done. Others teams are winning out and trending up like the Packers, 49ers, Cowboys, and even the Bucs.

Four turnovers and they still almost beat Dallas. The defense only gave up 13 points against the Saints. Half decent quarterback play and that’s a win. People are acting like suddenly players can’t play and coaches can’t coach. Let’s see how things go in the playoffs when players start coming back.
January 6, 20233 yr If they take care of business against the Giants and no one else gets hurt, won't most of our injured players be good to go by the first playoff game?

I think Lane is going to try and go, but he does have a torn groin muscle, and no one coming off the injuries will be completely healed until they stop playing this year, but if they can get through the Giants, without any major setbacks, and with a win then they should be fairly healthy by their first playoff game. True he is going to play through and wait til after the season for surgery, tough dude. But that should be key because there's quite a dropoff from him to Dillard or Driscoll. Mainly thinking about Maddox and Gardner Johnson though. Pretty sure Hurts is fine and they're just being overly careful.

He's a tough dude so who knows but I can see a scenario where early in the first play off game he goes down and can't continue.

Not only that but how effective will he be with his body compromised and likely to be in a lot of pain. I think him actually playing will be a surprise.
