I get it, they’re setting up the story. Throw around names fans comprehend, but how about a little action. Hopefully the 1st season is not all story telling and has some good action scenes. There's an iteration of the comics where John Stewart was half-Manhunter, half-human, and he was a powerful enough guardian that he didn't need the ring.

When he manifested the bird through unconsciousness and kept it around a few days made me wonder, but who knows.

admittedly i was never as big of a fan of dc like i was with marvel, but i did like batman a lot. with that i did do some reading and found out the same thing about stewart. that part i get about the show.

i'm just wondering how they tie in guy gardner from the movie because he has a ring as well.

Episode 4 was good. The chemistry between them is great. Shame we wont get much from them

Watched Supergirl to see what all the fuss was about. Wasn’t the worst movie in the world. Probably wouldn’t have been nearly the flop it was if the filmmakers possessed an ounce of professionalism during the promotion.

On rewatch they should have stuck to the comic. She was great as Kara and I liked the attitude. Didn't care for the girl or her revenge story. Lobo felt really forced. The visuals were so different from the comic

No, just wondering if they peaked action too much midway through. This episode would be fitting for a season finale, but we're at the halfway point.

kind of a mid-season, mini cliff hanger. although the episode 6 previews seem to be getting ready to mesh guy gardner into things.

I want to like Lanterns a lot, I really do, it’s just that it’s tough to really like a show when there’s not one likable character. Hal’s the most likable but he’s too much of an a-hole to be likable enough. Stewart’s mom is one of the worst characters created. Some of the effects are cool though.

Hal's the star of TV series & he's in all the episodes so far. It's more live action screen time than all the live action screen time he's had combined throughout history. Kyle is amazing in the role. We more than respect him. We love him, despite his imperfections. Us knowing the time of his death, if that's exactly what that is, is absolutely not the same thing as killing him off right away. Hal is a big reason why the show is so popular with fans & non fans alike; sorry if you don't like it.

Lanterns is ok so far (3 episodes). People treating it like it's DC's Andor. Uh, no.
