Perfect, throw those at an intruder to keep them at bay until the police arrive 45 minutes later! Better get more books

Honesty if someone randomly busted into my home a book would be more useful than any of my three unloaded, locked away guns. I guess if "The Purge" was announced on TV I would be ready though.

just because the kids have books doesn't mean there isn't a firearm in the house for protection. they just don't have their kids pose with them in christmas pictures...because they're not lunatics.

If your plan to defend your home from an intruder is to give your young kids automatic weapons it might not work out so great.

Just saying

Just spit balling here, but relying on kids that young to use firearms to protect themselves from an intruder is probably not the best idea.

We seen the reverse here.  A few years back someone on here (well, not here here, but here) was bragging about saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" to an elderly lady working cashier at a department store because he knew it would upset her.  Could you meme that for me?

Still find it utterly amazing that people don't realize how that electricity is generated, the minerals and metals we need to mine to make the big batteries, and where those batteries go when they die.

It's about shifting money from the OIl Companies to others. The great redistribution of wealth.

My kids all learned about firearms and fire arm safety at a very young age, that said no I don't rely on my kids

If only this showed anything about EV batteries. Sure recycling them is the preferred method but as of today not feasible with the predicted number of EVs on the road shortly.

If we were stuck, frozen in time and no other new technology could EVER be developed… you would have a point.

Fortunately, we are not frozen in time and battery technology is advancing quickly. Especially since there is incentive to do so.

Except that does nothing to help recycle the massive amount of batteries we have already and will still have in the near future. Solid state batteries are a dream as of now for car companies.
