I’m waiting to see the meltdown when they draft a DE with Smith still on the board.

Dallas and Giants on the clock.  Top 2 corners gone.

If Howie trades back with a team that wants one of the two QBs left and gets a nice package of 2022 picks, Id be all in

Same

Chicago bent over and took it dry to move up and take Mitch. And.... forget it. We just traded up

Trade up for Smith?

Makes sense. Dude is small and Howie loves the little guys

Brandon Graham trade up all over again with Kwitty Paye?

Smith.

Schmoopie is going to be furious when I tell her

We traded up for a fing WR. F U HOWIE.

Chicago traded up.  Probably gave up 11 first round picks

He looks so young. Like we took him straight out of HS.

Small too. You could probably kick his ass even.

Dominated everyone, everyone.

Top 3 pick next year's draft, Stingley and LSU, Smith went for 8 reception 231 yards and 3 TD

I like it - He looks like a professional.  Not gonna lie,  I was expecting Justin Fields.  This damn team has ruined me.

In college. I’m always hesitant with the smaller guys once they get to the next level.  We’ll see.

tl;dr: I don’t feel strongly one way or another.

I probably could, but I wouldn’t. He seems nice.

I’ll say this. I think the trade up was a waste. Dallas is going D.  So you either get Smith or all of Chicago’s picks

I’m with you, but the league is barely above flag football at this point.  I’m optimistic he’ll be fine.  I’m also drinking imperial IPAs and may be slightly drunk.

I think NY would have stayed at 11 and taken Smith if we didn’t

And then we get all of Chicago’s picks

either way, the team improves and Dallas doesn’t get an extra third.  That’s why it was a waste IMO

I guess I don’t get as excited about extra picks because I know Howie will waste most of them

Traded Wentz and 6 for 10, Miami’s 1st in 2022 and Indy’s 1st in 2022.

Yes.  I’m very aware of that.

I’m also aware of the MASSIVE dead cap hit we will take in 2022.  The best way to dig out of that hole (as I see it) and be competitive as quickly as possible is load up on picks. Especially 2022 ones since scouting will get back to normal, hopefully.

if smith fell to us, great.  If we trade with Chicago and end up with 3, potentially 4, first rounders next year, also great. Either way you don’t give Dallas another dart to throw when you KNOW they are going defense
