Chris Long’s podcast to me is always a delight but he bags on this situation at about 14:00 in to his most recent episode is fun

Zooming out a bit as we’re halfway through Eagles training camp (seven out of 14 total practices, including the ones in Miami and Cleveland), there are no signs of Hurts being a significantly different player from last year. This isn’t to suggest he’s been awful by any means; there are some areas where he has made positive strides. We’ve talked about his progress when it comes to throwing over the middle and getting the ball out quicker on certain plays. But there are still issues with accuracy and holding on to the ball for too long. No one can argue it’s been a strong camp for the offense as a whole, which certainly doesn’t reflect well on the starting quarterback.

Ummm......

That has to be a misprint

Ok maybe a center in the second round was not a wasted pick

Are you referring to Kelce's scope?

Yes

Gotcha. Thought something happened today

Of course it wasn't.  Dickerson did us a favor by being a beast at LG, so they needed to fill that hole again.  We absolutely needed C. Even if Kelce plays the entire season.

I was mad that both corner and safety were not addressed with that 2nd

Ok safety maybe but the addition of Bradberry covers that

But we didn’t have Bradberry then

Just wow

This is funnier watching them right now. At the time I thought that Golladay contract was one of the worst contracts I’ve ever seen, and now I’m watching a guy that creates no separation at all and will make zero difference.

I'm in two leagues.  One that's a family league with a great Comish and a second one that @Machine "runs".  In the good league, Golladay fell probably 4-5 rounds past ADP.  It was the 8th round and since I went WR-WR to start my draft and focused on other areas with the next 5 picks, I thought what the hell, why not?  He was a TD machine a few years ago, so that could round out my WR corps nicely

<_<

Oh, my 2nd round pick?  Calvin Ridley.  <_<

Spoiler

If you want to laugh, here is the complete list of WR's I drafted that night.

5 Davante Adams GB, WR
20 Calvin Ridley Atl, WR
92 Kenny Golladay NYG, WR
101 Jarvis Landry Cle, WR

Shut up.  Ellie was 3 months old and asleep in my arms the whole time.  I still took 2nd
