1) Tell me you've never read my position without telling me you've never read my position

2) Lets look at the 2025 numbers for those 4:

Hurts $21,769,800
Smith
Barkley $13,575,000
Brown $26,505,894
Total $48,275,694

$48 million BEFORE Smiths extension  🤷‍♂️

The cap isn't real

The cap isn't real

1) Fight me.

2) That's exactly why we made so many moves to shore up our biggest weaknesses.  We have all the money in the world to spend and are definitely not over leveraged and have to push money to be more competitive!*

*I'm actually very happy that Howie has not done a bunch of restructures right so far.  If we can get cap healthy again before Hurts is in the thick of his contract we will be in better shape.  Of course I'm saying this without looking at future dead cap for 2025 and 2026

looks like they are just under $40mil under the cap now ?

I just scanned real quick.  CJGJ isn't on there yet, Huff is but is $0 which is incorrect.  Barkley is, but his first year is only $4 against the cap so that accounts for the small dip.

I don't see Dickerson's extension either, but I would venture to guess it doesn't impact 2024.

They will both be post June 1st and you don't realize the savings until then.

Ignoring dead money and "savings", the net effect on this years cap will be

Cox: $5,700,000 to $4,200,000 for $1,500,000 extra in 2024 cap

Kelce: $10,178,000 to $8,678,000 for $1,500,000 extra in 2024 cap

Both of their contracts had a base salary of $1,500,000 in anticipation of June 1st moves.  That way it minimizes the net effect on the current year cap so they can easily carry them to June 1st.

Whitehall Pa

I dated a girl from Whitehall back in college - went to her parents house for an overnight one weekend and her dad took us and her sister to a bar to see her cousin play.  They served all 4 of us beer without question and her Dad was the only one of age

@Alpha_TATEr

Now that I had an extra second, here is what their dead cap in 2025 will look like after they are June 1st:

Cox - $10,100,000
Kelce - $16,438,000

In total they will cost $26,538,000 in cap space next year.

I honestly have no idea - I remember what the inside of it looked like but no clue what it was called.

Was it a BBQ joint\bar by any chance? (Grumpys)

I'm trying to think of places in whitehall that would have stages.  Most would be in Allentown\Bethlehem.

Yeah - we definitely ate there.  Lots of wood if I remember correctly  It's certainly possible it was in one of those towns - it was over 20 years ago.  I'm getting old
