October 29, 20232 yr The starting lineup seems a bit iffy at the moment. It probably doesn't help they have a giant James Harden sized hole. Maxey and Embiid are both fantastic, Melton has looked awful, so has Tucker and he gives you 0 on the offensive side passing out of open layups. Harris looked okay early and okay late but seems like the same Harris. Oubre is what we want/need Harris to be at the moment, a guy that can be the go to scorer with the second unit. I think you're okay with Harris if you're getting more than 15 combined points in 2 games from the other 2 starters. It makes it harder for the offense to run efficiently when neither guy is a threat to score in the half court offense. Embiid was visually frustrated with Melton at one point who wasn't in the right spot (wrong corner).

Dame followed up his 39 points against us by going 2-12 for 6 points in the Bucks home loss to the Hawks tonight. jus' saying

Harden is the only one you trade at this point. Melton and Tobi are good players if you don't need to play them above their expectations. Tobi is a 4th man at best and Melton is a 6th man that can guard either guard spot and shoot a bit.

I don't mean they necessarily have to go but adding those guys to a harden trade can involve more teams and make it more appealing. That could create options of some role players that would fit our team and style now. Melton is up after next year so not sure if he is in their future plans. I guess it depends on what trades we make and how Springer develops.
