I don't mean they necessarily have to go but adding those guys to a harden trade can involve more teams and make it more appealing.  That could create options of some role players that would fit our team and style now.  Melton is up after next year so not sure if he is in their future plans.  I guess it depends on what trades we make and how Springer develops.

Melton is only 25 and not going to cost them more than the mid lvl for an extension, around 13 million.

Springer offensive game needs progression and I would have him in the G League between Sixer games getting game work in.

People will hate on it, but the league is trying to spice up the regular season so give them props for that.

Think floor looks good

I care about this tournament about as much as the WNBA Finals.

Attaching a Melton to a Harden trade might open up a chance to trade for a better player or some combo of good role players.  Again, not suggesting he should be traded but it could be an option.

I'm to lazy to look.  Do these games count for real standings?  That is all I care about.

You are already trying to get expiring back for Harden to even make salaries work so wouldn't make sense.

LOL, oh yeah, guess that minor detail was forgotten by me.

People on real gm are saying because of the new rules, Harden either has to come up with some fake injury or he will have to play for us sooner or later if he isn't traded.  Imagine him coming off the bench?  LOL, that would be good for us for now.  He would hate it too.

He's going with the "sick mother" tactic.

He was at the game yesterday and think he can probably counter with I tried to play vs Milwaukee and I was rejected to get on the plane.

The bench is improved because these role players are good in their roles. Beverly can play D. Springer can play D. Reed can hustle. But theyre all one dimensional.

Oubre is the only one who can do more than 1 thing. He can score and defend.

I want another scorer on the bench.

Playing Portland  I was thinking about that proposed trade (hypothetical), Brogdon and Grant.

Grant moves in to the starting lineup. Brogdon is another scorer/defender and assist maker for the bench which they dont have. Him and Oubre on the 2nd unit would provide an endless supply of scoring for this team.  While Grant improves the starting unit by replacing Tucker.

That is SUCH a good trade.

May be an image of 3 people, people playing basketball and text that says 'S EASTERN CONFERENCE MAXEY PLA PLASER PHILI PHL OF THE WEEK TYRESE MAXEY 76'

Something to watch Maxey and Harris are in the top 10 in minutes per game. Nurse is known to play short rotations, you hope he keeps Embiid minutes low but doubtful

Harden trade is done

Most important part of this getting a unprotected first, a swap and another first

Without a doubt the best part of this deal is getting out of the Tucker contract. All three of Batum, Morris and RoCo are declining, but they can all hit three point shots and play a bit of defense. Kenyon Martin Jr is the interesting player in the deal, I don't think many of us watched the Rockets so I have no idea if he will be useful.

Get out old man
