November 1, 20232 yr Looks like we created a 6.8M player exception from the Harden trade. So not 11 like someone reported yesterday. But a trade exception nonetheless.

November 2, 20232 yr so the question is, are there any useful players around the league that make 6.8 million or less? Someone we can send a 2nd round pick for perhaps?
November 2, 20232 yr Morey really has a weird obsession Daryl Morey is keeping a famous portrait of James Harden he commissioned in 2018 by Croatian artist Filip Peraic on his living room wall despite what was a messy separation. "It's one of my prized possessions," said Morey. Morey traded for Harden in 2012 when he was running the Houston Rockets and again in 2022 with the Philadelphia 76ers. "James changed my life," Morey said. "He's one of the all time greats. As time goes on, people will think about him in much more historic terms. What he did to change the game and change the NBA will get recognized more as the Twitterverse and the people who don't understand how good he is, fade away." Harden feels differently about Morey and has told associates he doesn't intend to ever speak to him again.
November 2, 20232 yr I hope Harden doesnt even let Morey attend When asked if he was hurt by James Harden’s accusations and handling of the situation Daryl Morey replies: "Look I think time heals. He wanted to be traded and we followed through on what he wanted...He chose to handle things in certain ways that I wouldn’t have. He might feel the same on us...This will just be a blip and something we won’t remember when we’re at James’ Hall of Fame induction."
November 2, 20232 yr Bucks might not be as good as everyone thought. They need time to gel but they are not deep at all. If the main guys are off or get hurt, they are just mediocre.

Middleton is on a minutes restriction right now but they also need a defender and need Beauchamp and the rookie, Andre Jackson to play well from. Will they let them develop and take a few extra losses or just play Crowder. Same with Sixers they have to develop Springer and 6 minutes a game won't cut it, he needs game time to see if he has it or not.

Not sure Middleton will be that impactful even when he is back to playing full time. And their fans are complaining about the coach.

November 2, 20232 yr reddit guys suggesting a trade for Lauri Markkanen. If we were thinking about trading 3-4 first round picks for OG, I would rather they go towards Lauri. Don't know if he will be available but he would fit like a glove on this team.
