November 3, 20232 yr The scoring load is beautifully balanced. Embiid with another uncharacteristically high assist game. 7 so far. Hes done that a few times already this season.
November 3, 20232 yr This is only game 4, but its pretty cool to say this team hasnt lost since opening night. And the other awesome thing is, without rust on the FT line, and crooked refs, we win that game too. This team is looking really good. Only gonna get better as they get more comfortable in Nurse's system And then gonna get better yet when Morey gets to flip these assets. The ceiling is high. We arent even sure where it is. We cant even see it at this point.

November 3, 20232 yr Reed hasn't impressed me so far this year and would like to see Mo get minutes. I still think he really talented just to consistent minutes ever to show it
November 3, 20232 yr I wouldnt hesitate to use Reed in a trade to bring in another star. But I also dont think Mo getting significant minutes is good for this team. I think his lack of opportunity has left him far to raw. Dont think hes the caliber of player who belongs playing on a contender.

He will never flash on the offensive end and you don't need him to, but his mid range looked last night. He is a defensive stopper, which he is elite at. Oubre won't slow down Tatum, he just won't No matter who you trade for, until Embiid plays like the MVP in the playoffs then it really doesn't matter.

I will make an effort to watch more of their games if I can but from the few I have seen, I am not that impressed. I understand what his role is but if he is the main guy we target and the rest of the signings and trades are blah, then he is just an expensive contract that won't get us over the hump. If he is part of the reconstruction and we sign a better player or add a couple role players that are good for our fit, then I don't mind him coming in that scenario. I'd prefer we sign him in the off season rather than trade 3 1st round picks for him, if possible.

Heck you might even still have money and picks left over for more complementary pieces.
