December 12, 20232 yr Apparently NBA is considering guaranteeing a playoff spot to NBA cup winner next year. Thats stupid. The team that wins is likely to make the playoffs anyway. And what if they end up with an extra playoff team? Or, would the keep the lowest seed out to make room for the cup winner? Either way, dumb.

Its tough to make it longer because all of those games have to be seamlessly incorporated in to the regular season schedule. I wouldnt want to be the person figuring out how to make it work.
