January 5, 20242 yr If they make a trade that weakens the roster such that Danny Green is getting minutes, they've lost that trade. If they end up with one open roster slot and sign him as the 15th player, I'm alright with that. I felt bad for him the way the other trade went down. I like that he wants to be here. I just dont want him really playing in any role bigger than what Danuel House currently has.

I don't want him to be the first or second guy off the bench but he shouldn't be that deep down the bench as House is. We need 3 point shooters and he knows what to do in the playoffs. He can also step in for spot starter minutes if Oubre/Batum are resting or injured.

We already have a plethora of old slow wings on the bench. House occasionally gets bench minutes but not always. I like that role for green. Mainly a locker room guy. But plays sometimes unlike kork.

We have the spacing now where he will get open looks from the corner.

January 5, 20242 yr According to a guy called ChrisBHaynes 6ers and Lakers are showing interest in Dejounte Murray.
January 6, 20242 yr It seems tough to match salary for Murray considering he has a pretty low salary this year, but then his new deal kicks in. This works for salary, but is obviously very lopsided for the 6ers. If Morey is good he will print this post and fax it to ATL as an official offer.
January 6, 20242 yr Cut it down to 14. The last 4 minutes of this quarter will determine if we have a game in the 4th.
January 6, 20242 yr No Melton has been hurting tonight. But with Maxey off the court, Embiid needs Oubre out there for some help. Down double digits we cant afford to go with a 1 scorer lineup.
January 6, 20242 yr Author pathetic that embiid was out there stat chasing while down 20 with a game tomorrow.
January 6, 20242 yr After last night, Im all in for Murray. They needed that 1 extra scorer. Every time they are a little short handed one of the guys who can provide some offense, you can feel it. Theyve won most of those games, but you can still see how much tougher it makes things for them. Melton was out, and they didnt have enough fire power to keep up with the hot shooting of NY. There was a time they were down by double digits, and had only Embiid on the court. Maxey and Oubre resting. Fell in to more of a hole and couldnt dig out.

The concern for me is since he got to the Hawks he stopped trying on defense when he had a reputation with the Spurs as an elite guard defender. I still would go Grant/Brodgon over Murray
