At this point they are better off giving Embiid a week off seeing where it is at. If it’s not good in a week sit for another week and eventually through the all star break. He can barely jump and move.

Embiid is done.

So Fing dumb to have him playing. He couldn’t jump or move. And of course because of that he has that turnover and then gets a guy landing on his knee. Such idiotic management of him.

I had to go pick some stuff up and they were mounting a little comeback. Got a notification on my phone that he injured his knee with Kuminga falling on it.

The 76ers injury management has been poor for so fircken long. It was pretty evident he was struggling out there and they probably felt he couldn't do any damage to the existing injury so he may as well play. Pity that doesn't take into account the chance of injuring something else when he can't move.

Seeing the Embiid injury - that's nearly identical to what Smart did to Curry last year.  I'm sure Steve Kerr didn't whine and btch about his own player dropping his entire body weight on Embiid's knee.  F'n dirtbag.

I wouldn't call either play dirty. Curry got hurt because he decided to try to pick up a ball when Smart correctly was diving for a loose ball.

Kuminga just was going for the ball in my opinion and not trying to jump on his knee.

I completely agree - my point was ultimately that Steve Kerr is a whiny btch

I absolutely do agree with that. He talks about not breaking the code, with Green on his team was laughable.

Rumblings about Jimmy Butler possibly being available via trade.  If so, Sixers need to pull the trigger on that trade.  He’s exactly what this team needs in the playoffs.

I could see them trading for Lebron more than trading Butler

Kendrick Perkins out of the blue bright up the idea that the Heat should trade Butler.

I've seen no substantial rumor but the media had run with it like it's happening.

I doubt that it is.

He also said the Sixers should rest Embiid for the whole season. Not just the regular season, but the playoffs as well

guess thats happening too. lol.

Apparently Mikal Bridges is not on the market despite a down season.

The Houston Rockets have expressed a tremendous amount of interest in trading for Mikal Bridges, sources tell The Athletic. The Rockets have made an offer of multiple first round picks to the Brooklyn Nets for Bridges in recent weeks.

The Nets have zero interest in trading Bridges, who is part of their core moving forward.

from last night

Windy says the 6ers are expected to be very active at the trade deadline. Now lost 4 in a row, Morey is feeling the pressure to make changes.

The only change that would help right now is having two starting caliber centers. Which doesnt make much sense when Embiid is healthy. Only move is a gigantic overpay for Markkanen since he can play at the same time as Embiid.

Has he had the MRI yet? Probably should have heard some results by now if he did

Or at least have Maxey healthy. Embiid was the leading assist man at HT with 2. While Pat Bev is great to have around they probably nead another guard to lead the second unit and get guys in their spots and play alongside him. Having Melton back may also help that

We have no idea how long Meltons back will keep him out. It’s getting a little concerning.

This team has some of the worst medical staff in all sports

If some other team gets Kuzma for less than 2 1sts Ill be upset it wasnt us

Rumors of the Washington Wizards demanding two first-round picks in exchange for Kyle Kuzma have been "overblown," according to David Aldridge and Josh Robbins of The Athletic.

Kuzma has been linked with several teams, including the Kings and the Mavs.

Kuzma is averaging 21.9 points and 4.4 assists per game, both career highs, this season.

6ers fined 75k for not listing embiid on the injury report in an accurate and timely manner before the Denver game.

If Lauri is available, I can see Thunder blowing their load to get him because he fits so well.

I'm reading turn meniscus for Embiid.  He wants to play through.  Team considering giving him time off to heal.

Also according to Shams team not interested in a big move.  Looking at a brogdon or Monte Morris type of move.
