I really dont see what Kyle Lowry can add to this team when Hield presumable knocks Melton back to the bench along with Beverly. Id rather see a real PG like Tyus Jones brought in still, or get more of a 2/3 or 3/4 type of player. Wonder if they can still swing a deal for Caruso. Bulls have been hesitant but if they could get Drummond and Caruso along with Hield today thats a pretty good deadline day.
February 8, 20241 yr I agree there is more to come. There could be a big Tobi move. But I also think there can still be a medium sized move like a Brogdon, Tyus Jones, Kuzma... And potentially something smaller like a Drummond. Id REALLY love to see Paul Reed moved so we can end the yearly hype and false hopes with him too. Hield is good. And its easy to forget how damn good this team can look if they have everyone back on the court since its not just Embiid, but also adding back guys like Melton and Batum, as well as even Covington. Theres a level of play this team can achieve that we really havent seen in quite a while this season. However, considering the roster the Knicks have assembled, it may still not be enough. It probably feels like a bigger gap than it actually is. But it may not be enough...
