Knowing there isnt any marquee free agent in the summer, can he use Tobi's salary, and the 1sts in these next couple hours to do something big? Or will he continue to be average Daryl and just get those mid-low tier names we have been hearing all season? Lauri would be the type of move you expect when we got the overhyped name GM. An overpay for Drummond and DFS is the kind of moves he actually delivers.

They know theyre getting Embiid back so they are supposedly being buyers. Yet, all theyve done his Hield which was a nice trade but not enough to move the needle on its own. And clearing space to buy out Lowry is the opposite of a good move.
February 8, 20241 yr I dont hate the Derozan trade at this point. Maxey, Hield, and DeRozan can tow the scoring load while Embiid is out, and even when he returns if he and the team would be smart enough to let them. Plus, its all expiring contracts which limits nothing this summer.
