They actually boxed out tonight for the most part.

He had 16, they combined for 14. He was really poor offensively but he was excellent on defense. In OT he came up huge with the 2 blocks, steal and 3 point play. Add in diving for that rebound. He was also doing a good job in helping Maxey get open when he was the hot hand in the last
May 1, 20241 yr A couple things about last nights game.....this team is good enough to beat anyone and stupid enough to lose to anyone. I swear, I honestly thought the way Embid was tossing turnovers around that at one point he was trying to throw the game and had money on the Knicks while trying to get himself traded out of Philly. I still go back to the Playoff Seeding going...F....same record as the Magic and Pacers and we got the Knicks? Honestly this series should have been the ECF the way these two teams are going at each other. We absolutely would have beaten the Bucks or the Cavs.....

May 1, 20241 yr Author it wasn't exactly by design last night but a situation where embiid can be the secondary scorer & focus on defense and rebounding instead of scoring 30+ every night would be ideal going forward.
