lot of scuttlebutt on realgm about him being a poor mans Markkanen. Not quite as good of a shooter, yet better passer and better defender.

If you can get Markkanen, or even like... Bogdanovic, its good.

What if you just aim lower and call him another Dario Saric? Still darn good pick at 16.

I dont know.... but its hard to think of a player comp for him that isnt pretty enticing. He seems like he should be a day 1 contributor.

I'm not too familiar with Markkanen's game but Filipowski can shoot, and with some pro coaching he'll continue to get better at it.

Kelly Olynyk is probably a good comp. A guy that can contribute in this draft is a win.

Jared McCain could be another option in that he can shoot the ball and develop into a back up primary ball handler.

imo they're in win now mode & will try to move their 1st round pick in a trade for a vet.

Agree. Its probably a waste of time talking about this year's draft. But till that happens pick16 looks like a somewhat exciting place to be this year so its a somewhat fun time waste.

16th pick in this draft probably doesn't get you anything so it's yeah if it's part of the package of picks they have

Pompey saying Melton wants 4 years at 60 million 😂😂😂

Damn and he may get closer to 12 but 15 is insane when your not even sure he can play in a rotation during the playoffs.

I figured PG was going to stay in LA. Clippers will cave and give him the money cause they are moving into that new arena next year. And he wants to be in LA. im guessing we move to butler or Ingram at that point.

He’s completely mid and has a bad back. Hard pass.

read a full 2 round mock today with NBA comp for every player. The comp given for Filipowski was Moritz Wagner.

Other notable ones

Baylor Schiereman - Joe Ingles

Terrence Shannon- Kelly Oubre

Tristan da Silva- Trey Lyles

Kel'el Ware (6ers pick in this mock)- Brook Lopez

Isaiah Collier- Tyreke Evans

Devin Carter- Derrick White

OG is a really good 2-way player....but idk if he's that much of a difference maker. honestly, none of the rumored sixers' options sound that great. they're either way past their primes or just meh.

While I don’t disagree that he’s not a true star type difference maker, given his age and fit (legit 3 and D), I would offer him the max. It would cost no draft compensation as well. No brainer him over PG.

No max for Maxey so we save about 7 million in cap space.

That really sucks for him. BUT, he is about to cash in big time anyway.

Good for the team saving that 7M this year.

i agree with OG > PG.

Instead of maxing someone like OG Id rather just build a solid roster.

Re-signing Oubre and Batum then get a bunch out of the group below.

Mid tier- Monk, Caleb Martin, Okoro, Kyle Anderson

Centers- Hartenstein, Valanciunas, Drummond

Lower tier- Royce ONeal, Dario Saric, Taurean Prince, Lonnie Walker,

On Miles Bridges- Ill trust the team's digging on that.

Did you have to post that? I was having a good day.

its nothing but bad news about our offseason. from PG to maxing OG, or settling for LaVine. Nothing but bad options.

I could make it worse…
