June 27, 20241 yr Morey doesn’t care about the fans and already tarnished his reputation. So might as well sign the wife beater.

June 27, 20241 yr Gonna be Butler and KCP is my guess. All year thought it was dumb not to trade for a guy and get his Bird rights and now they will over pay two dudes and be on the level of the Magic Pacers

I’m also not sure even if you get him he stays with the sixers and doesn’t leave unless he gets 5 year max and even then wouldn’t be surprised if he left.
June 27, 20241 yr This story is amazing. She went to his high school prom after she graduated college.

No player is turning down a 5 year max with a trade kicker, come on now.

They are willing to give Jimmy the max, of course they were. You try to play chess with everything and sometimes you need to play tic tac toe.

You try to play chess with everything and sometimes you need to play tic tac toe. they had a chance to give Jimmy Butler a Max five years ago. When he was 29 in his prime and they didn’t do it. Because they were worried about wear and tear and injury concerns and fit. That’s not just a Gm that’s an ownership decision. Add on, I believe it was Chris Haynes that said, they were going to offer butler him that max and Jimmy Butler still wanted to go to Miami. We can bring that up here but I don’t think that’s true. But if you believe Haynes that they were gonna offer that max and he was still going to Miami anyways. So you’re gonna tell me now when OG has had injury problems in the past, they’re just gonna be like yeah here’s a five-year Max and you are a lesser player then what butler was then. It was not a given they were gonna offer OF a 4 year max in FA. Go look at the wording. They said "close” to a max No offense Jimmy Butler max extension is two more years added on. So the contract only 4 years. It’s not five years. Add on it becomes an expiring contract after 3 years not after 4. You seem to think a five-year max on an injury prone type player is the same thing as a max on older Jimmy Butler that’s 4 years. And Jimmy butler has been an all star caliber player consistently in his career and proven playoff performer. OG has not played at Butler’s level for a postseason Add on you keep talking about the sixers should’ve done this. What package did the Sixers have at their disposal that was gonna be better than the Knicks? Because the Raptors wanted quickly and RJ Barrett as young players over just picks. where do the Sixers on their roster have young talented players like that? Show me this package. You really want to talk about playing chess every time we’ve talked about this you have yet to show me the package that would beat out a New York Knicks package. Because it doesn’t exist. If the Raptors wanted young players over draft assets, the Sixers didn’t have that. I’m sorry Ricky council isn’t cutting it for the Raptors. Jaden springer wasn’t doing it. All you had was expiring contracts and picks you could’ve sent them. They clearly wanted young players over draft assets to make that move. add on OG’s agent is Leon Rose’s son. That’s a factor in this.. I don’t think the 76ers were gonna offer OG (based off reports) they said something close to a max. So there’s a chance they weren’t even offering him 4 years of a max if he reached FA let me also bring up Tobias Harris. The last time the Sixers traded away assets and then gave a guy close to a five-year max was Tobias harris. You don’t think that sticks with the 76ers ownership? they seen about giving up assets, putting themselves into a guy where they gave a flawed player close to a five-year max and then getting stuck. I guarantee you that is something that makes them hesitate to even give that.

June 27, 20241 yr Lauri is available apparently. But after Bridges and dealing with Ange, I would guess we are looking at 6 1st’s minimum.
June 27, 20241 yr I wonder if they will pick Ulrich Chomche because of the Embiid connection. 6'10" power forward from Cameroon with a 7'4" wingspan.
