Between the Phillies, Sixers, Flyers and Eagles.....think I'm going to stop watching professional sports at this point.....

I feel like this Eagles team is quietly better than the SB team from two years ago.

depends on how well the re-tooled secondary will function, and Hurts' ability to run a more intricate offense than he has ever been asked to before. If those things work out, theyll be incredible.

Rather the Sixers overpay KCP then give Klay 15 to 18.

Denver’s Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is emerging as one of the focal points of NBA free agency. A difference-maker, league sources say, who suddenly appears more likely than not to switch teams. The Orlando Magic and the Philadelphia 76ers, meanwhile, appear especially well-positioned to capitalize on Caldwell-Pope’s expected availability if they choose.

The Nuggets have been unable to come to terms on a contract extension with Caldwell-Pope, who is expected to decline his $15.4 million player option for next season to become a free agent before this season’s marketplace officially opens Sunday at 6 PM ET. – via marcstein.substack.com

The Flyers are going to get to the finals before the Sixers.

they would both be super underwhelming, imo. and if either one is their "big" acquisition, this team is f'd.

Go get KCP for 3 years or whatever.

What are the Hawks waiting for? They have to trade either Murray or Young.

This was pretty funny

Sixers would’ve been amazing in 2018

Demar should not be a target with Maxey on this team. Embarrassing if they end up with him. Want dudes that play defense and only a secondary playmaker.

Maxey, KCP, Oubre, Grant, Embiid

Trade for Grant and Simons

I am sticking with Embiid wanting Butler back

Some headlines today.

Quickley and Raptors agreed on 5/175 deal

Pelicans will explore Ingram trade if they are unable to agree to an extension

Nuggets had interest in Paul George, talks ended over draft picks

Warriors have interest in George

You could argue that Ingram was a part of the cause of the serious spacing issues only shooting 3.8 3p shots last year. Dude got benched during Team USA and in the playoffs. You HOPE that was enough of an awakening.

If you trade for him the other two spots MUST and I mean must shoot 38% plus from 3 or spacing becomes an issue.

Oubre only shot 31%. Grant from the Blazers was at 40% and Simons was 38% if want a 6rh man

I love a lot about Ingram's game and have been wishing he was here for years.

The one complaint, and big fear is that he is another playoff no-show kind of guy.

Im not banging the table for him at this point. But I would be pretty darn excited to add him. And then hope that he can be better in the playoffs with easier possessions being that Maxey and Embiid should help make life easier for him.

Besides your playoff point, the 2 biggest concerns I have with Ingram is can he adjust to being the third guy here. It is an adjustment to be the third guy. i think it’s easier said then done but he should be able to flourish if he can adjust and accepts it with maxey and embiid. The other issue that worries me is four and five years ago he was shooting six threes per game. he shot 39 and 38% those two seasons. Which is pretty good. The last three years he’s dropped 4.1, 3.6 and 3.8 3’s per game. And only one year did he shoot around that 39%. They need to get him somewhere between 6-7 threes per fame because how teams are gonna play Maxey and Embiid. he’s gonna get that opportunity. And if he can hit like 39% and he’s taking 6-7 per game that is a massive win for the Sixers.

that said they still need wing defenders and guys who’ll crash the boards.

wearing #20...gonna be tough to live up to other 20's like bang-bang georges niang & fultz.

Where have I heard this before?

The Clippers considered Harris, 26, close to a max-level player in the marketplace, and that would've been difficult for them to afford with the franchise's lofty free-agent aspirations. The Clippers are planning to pursue several All-NBA-caliber players, including Toronto Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard. The Clippers have salary-cap space to sign two maximum-contract players.

Harris is having his best NBA season, averaging 20.9 points on 50 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent from the 3-point line.

The trade improved the Sixers' odds of winning the NBA title from 16-1 to 10-1 at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. Philadelphia's odds of winning the Eastern Conference also jumped from 5-1 to 9-4 at the SuperBook.

Quote

Harris is the ideal piece to slot in next to Philadelphia's other stars. He's a terrific shooter (hitting 43.4 percent of his 3-pointers this season, and shooting just less than 50 percent overall) and can fit in tandem with any of Philly's stars -- something that will matter greatly as the Sixers are going to be searching for plenty of depth. But Philadelphia should be able to have a minimum of two, if not three, of these five on the floor at any one time, which can help mitigate those depth issues.

Quote

Harris is averaging a career-high 20.9 points with extreme efficiency -- and its starting lineup is downright fearsome.

By becoming a great 3-point shooter over the past couple of years, Harris made himself into an ideal complement to the Sixers' stars, as long as he is prepared for his usage rate to drop when they're all on the court together. He can make 3s off the catch and off the bounce, and he can make plays off the dribble. In the playoffs, against switching defenses, his ability to take advantage of mismatches and simply shoot over smaller players should be helpful. Harris is not a lockdown defender, but he can essentially do what Chandler did on that end

In his last game as a Clipper, Harris had 34 points, five assists and seven rebounds while shooting 13-for-21 -- and 6-for-7 from deep! -- against the Charlotte Hornets. Los Angeles trailed by as many as 20 points in Charlotte on Tuesday, mere hours before the trade, but fought back and escaped with a win thanks to Harris' game-winning runner

He is going to have a mystery injury caused by a Tik Tok dance and forget how to shoot

He has all the upside of what we hoped Tobias would be. Kind of what he was for that half a season with the Clippers. And also the playoff disappearing downside. Ill only worry about that when we see it happening. Id instantly be very excited for the improvement we got otherwise.

He gets to be the second option a lot during Joel’s rests/injuries if he comes here. It’s a big target for Maxey to see when he drives and kicks. The 3 point shooting will be clutch, yeah.
