Im ready for Ingram and Miles Bridges.

Sanchez just pitched a gem! He looks like Dame Lillards older bro lol.

Really a great option. Young player. Up and coming

Want!

If Wiggins wasn’t so fragile I would say maybe make a play for him but I don’t think he would hold up in Philly if he went into a bad slump.

Most exciting part of the offseason…

If Morey is waiting around and Ingram goes elsewhere and then PG decides California, we are screwed.

We were screwed well before this

morey probably already think a out deadline moves

I wonder how Sam Hinkie would have done if he were still GM.

Morey has an opportunity to do something here . . . anything . . . just do anything.

Nah thats a bad fallacy. That anything is better than nothing. Dont make a bad move for lack of alternatives

as Sam would say: value optionality

By now Hinkies process would have been over.  We used up all of the assets.  This is the first year we are back to having picks and cap space.

He would have had his roster completed at some point over the last few seasons and we either would have had championships or he would be fired by this summer for a new GM to try to work with our renewed chest of assets.

Morey inherited a depleted stock of assets. But missed a lot of opportunities and has shown major flaws.  I wish we had a different GM for this summer.  But silver lining is,  maybe this is his last chance.

Dont agree that this is his last chance

probably not because he just got extended. But he will be running out of excuses now that he has cap space and draft picks- and he planned for this scenario since last summer. So he ought to have a plan and carry it out.

If no one comes here and he wants to try again next summer, thats BS.

I get that Philly isnt an attractive destination but if the GM cant convince anyone to come then you have to try to find someone who can. Thats his job.

Our plan might be to wait 2 years for Kawhi to be completely broken down and then make a move for him.

When we miss out on everything this summer, Im sure we will start hearing little whispers about interest in Durant, or Booker. Philly will get linked in reports between now and the deadline. Of course, we wont get either one of them either. Then itll be on to next summer.

There was only one GM with a plan....was it the best one?  Maybe/maybe not but he never got a chance to complete it.  The rest...Brand, Colangelo, Morey are all throwing crap against a wall and hoping to god it sticks.  Hinkie at least had created multiple draft picks to back up the picks he made and were all pissed away.  And even his greatest pick, Embid is absolutely a fantastic talent with the mentality of a 12 year old.

On SportsCenter, ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski said the Utah Jazz will listen to offers for All-Star forward Lauri Markkanen. The Jazz were aggressively pursuing trades for Mikal Bridges, before he was traded to the New York Knicks. Now, Utah may pivot towards continuing a rebuild.

Wojnarowski indicated it would take a massive offer for a team to acquire Markkanen. The Jazz aren't necessarily shopping their All-Star forward, but could move him if blown away with a trade package.

It probably starts at 4 firsts and a young player.

All wrong. No GM can change the extrinsic factors that make philly a less desirable place to land. Embiid is the attraction. And a title tun theoretically.

so have to get creative or find undervalued players

I forgot their GM is Ainge. He will ask for Maxey and 15 1sts. Maybe Ingram is better.

Which doesn't happen with Morey unfortunately.

The really cool thing about Lauri is his low salary so leaves a max slot open or money to spread around to at least 2 other good players.

It's worth it to give everything we can to make it happen. But not Maxey.

McCain and Council tough?

It is what Morey did in Houston and doing the exact same thing here.

He refuses to acknowledge the continuity matters and the roster turnover the last few years shows that. The franchise will eventually run dry of assets and he will quit.

Both would be rough but I’m sure that will be required.
