When does negotiating begin? 12am tonight? 12pm tomorrow? Or some other weird time?

PG’s interview tour will be Sunday night into Monday apparently according to Woj. Clippers, us and Orlando.

We all know how this works out.

6ers will be the last stop of the tour. Morey will wait for him to take his tours and make a decision.

All other big free agents sign quickly.  He chooses Orlando, and we are stuck putting off plans till next summer.

That’s what I would expect lol.

The Magic Reddit fans don’t think their gm will offer the max. They also don’t like the fit next to Suggs.

I'm sure they will find a way to fit suggs and his whopping 12 ppg next to PG if they had too.

So realistically if we get PG who else can we get with him?

now Harden is willing to take the mid-level exception...For the Lakers

James Harden, Klay Thompson and Jonas Valanciunas are among the players the Los Angeles Lakers could target with their full midlevel exception, sources tell Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

James is willing to take less than his three-year, $162 million max contract if the Lakers are able to secure a commitment from an impact players at the full $12.9 million mid-level.

"He is prioritizing a roster improvement," Rich Paul told ESPN on Saturday. "He's been adamant about exuding all efforts to improve the roster."

What actually is the max for George for the non-Clippers teams? I dont even know.

ok I see 49M for George. About 10M left in cap after him.

I was thinking maybe Kevon Looney but Richaun Holmes just got like 13M a year...

George will be eligible to sign a four-year, $212 million contact with teams that have the cap space. He's also eligible to sign up to a four-year, $221 million contract and negotiate a no-trade clause to remain with the Clippers.

Not that much of a difference

The reason on draft night I said they were  trying to trade that 16th pick was because it’s $4 million against the cap according to bodner’s calculations. This is less about McCain and more about do you believe a rookie can be part of your rotation in the playoffs this year and the following year? Because if you don’t, it is a $4 million against the cap for a guy that’s not going to help you in the playoffs the next two seasons and with little cap if they max out a free agent or another player it’s harder make a more complete roster that $4 mil taken. If the Sixers weren’t in win mode and going for a title, I’d say just keep McCain and let it play itself out because he’s probably gonna be a good role player at some point. But they have to ask themselves can he be a significant part of the rotation for $4 million each of the next two years?

I was wondering if we see someone like Westbrook come here. Which wouldnt be a dream scenario exactly, but we really could use a guy who can assist like he can.

Other free agent targets that Id like.

Miles Bridges

Caleb Martin

Wonder if it would be significantly cheaper to let Hield go and sign Lonnie Walker

Markieff Morris

Taurean Prince

Saddiq Bey

Malik Beasley

Dario Saric

If you like to lose at the end of every game he is apart of than sure lol.

He should be cheaper, his scoring has gone down 3 years in a row. This past season should of been the time to break out and get a big contract but, he was worse. I like him though he can get buckets in a hurry when he is on

Westbrick would be for the bench and not end games. I wouldn’t mind him if he was super cheap.

Hes not better than our idea of what Hield should have been. But based on what Hield provided last season... Walker might be better especially factoring in defense.

Curious to see what Naji Marshall gets. If you believe his 3 point shot is as good as it was this year (and he can take more 3’s and hit that same percentage), he’s a guy if affordable I’d go after. That said i could easily see someone overpaying for him and prices us out if we get PG

100% chance Eric Gordon talks to the sixers lol

Well Lowry can't start and as of right now they have no other guards. I doubt he would leave LA to sit on the bench in the East Coast anyways. Also he would never be able to handle the Philly fans he's already had an altercation with them lol

Plus he picked up his player option so there is that too.

Also wouldn’t be surprised if DFS they go after in a trade
