Some of those goofballs are also talking themselves in to the idea that its a good idea to keep Paul Reed at this point. I think they mean for trade purposes we would have his salary.

Some of them have actually talked about him checking certain boxes and how hes pretty much as good as anyone left at PF.... definitely, the ones Ive seen are talking about him actually being a useful piece of the rotation. I dont know what itll ever take for people to give this guy up.

At that point they have an argument because he will make a few hustle plays. But still, Id take a whole bunch of players that can offer more skills than him even as backups. I dont want him at all.

Nope you have Drummond and the rookie 2nd rd pick might offer similar skills to Reed. Not worth 7mil
July 2, 20241 yr Just cause I think it would be really Fing funny, if the Sixers offered Paul Reed for Terrence Mann
July 2, 20241 yr Morey sleeping most of the day. Maybe 3:30am will bring news of our PF situation being solved.

I don't quite understand the rules but trading Reed and taking on more salary hard caps them and I don't think Morey will do that just for a guy that is moderately better than a guy they could sign

But they could also trade for someone without taking on more salary by sign and trading someone like Hield or KJ Martin.

Was charged with child abuse and seems super unstable and not a good guy

July 2, 20241 yr Someone mentioned trying to trade for Brogdon. He would be a nice fit. Can run the second unit and would be a major bench piece. Can shoot the 3.

July 2, 20241 yr I don't get the rush to sign Eric Gordon. I guess because it was a minimum but it feels like Morey knows 15 players in the league and always goes back to them. Burks, Beasley, Buddy, Trent Jr., are all better at this stage and they are now redundant with McCain and Gordon. I would have given Mo Wagner the 2/10 over Drummond as well. Isaac Okoro is a RFA and if want to throw money at a guy, he would be it. Mentioned him months ago, a good to very good defender and think at 38% at spot up 3s. I don't think you can sign Bey and wait for his ACL to heal. Also, think he is a chucker. Other names are Lonnie Walker, Lamar Stevens, Taurean Prince, Kyle Anderson

He is expected to re-sign with the Magic, I don't think he was ever going to be an option. They're also reacting to the Knicks series grabbing Drummond. He is a good rebounder and if he was able to grab some boards while Embiid is resting it limits the Knicks second chance opportunities

They've said several times Drummond was best backup for Embiid through the years.

Drummond is fine but would have liked to see a rim runner big with Maxey. Bona is that guy but he is years away
