Feels like he’s gonna opted out after 3 years unless he gets hurt or really declines. So the cavs are back in a do we trade him or play it out mode in 2 years in 2026-27.

I would be very pleased with a DFS trade and Marcus Morrus back on a vet min deal.

There's not much mysterious about him getting traded or even released. God needs to tell Paul he stinks.

Listening to neubeck and bodner both said they talked to guys around the league and said they view the second apron as a hard cap. And being a repeater really screws you so teams are trying to avoid it

A repeat on the 2nd apron your 1st round pick goes to number 30

It sounded like even the first apron was a bit of a handcuff and you wouldn’t want to hit that if you needed to add any players over the minimum later.

If they take on x amount more salary than they send out, they are hard capped at the first apron.

But they have ways of making trades even for a hefty salary without that happening.

Yup. And i believe if the team doesn’t have that pick it doesn’t for the team acquired the pick. I also believe it restricts who you can sign like buyouts

actually benefited the sixers to not be a repeater of the tax over the past couple years especially going into this

Said before if they really don’t want to be hard capped they could theoretically deal Reed and McCain and get back a player for 10-12 mil and be fine
